I have contacted the Castle Coalition to list this event. Come one, come all, tell your friends to come to the meeting in support of Tom Eaton's right to property and voice opinions (outrage) at the overstepping of bounds of the City Council on this widely opposed, expensive and unnecessary roundabout project. Stand at the head of the square on any day and watch people enter the circle. It becomes readily obvious that few people understand the concept of yielding right of way, the main principle in surviving roundabouts. The only time there is a problem in the particular area of Main street in question is between four and five thirty pm, and then one has to wait thru three lights max. What's the rush, slow down and enjoy the scenery on your way home from a hectic day at work. Put the roundabout at Winchester, Pearl and Island. That's where the real problem is. In closing, I say the councilors in favor of the round about should have to sell their properties and donate the money towards the funding!!
