What you should do, I think is to file a “Death certificate” to the state… I mean some kind of document may have been created to gain an organization number or something from the state which I suppose could be equaliated to a birth certificate.
Logicly a death certificate should be possible for the termination of such organization.

Third Party Watch is talking shit.
To declare the party dead, you first have to declare life. Seriously, what do you have to lose? I think Barr was a good move. Supporting candidates who are in your political quadrant is smart. Only supporting candidates with a perfect 100 would weed out everyone with a voting record including Ron Paul according to the RLC Liberty Index. If you only support candidates without a voting record, your party is worthless. All you teach candidates is that your support is unattainable and therefore not worth pursuit.
We aren’t supporting only 100% agreement candidates but Barr is hardly in our quadrant. In the least he has a whole lot further to prove that he is. Many in the FSP supported Paul and we acknowledge his flaws but he’s got 30 years of street cred and we know where he stands. Barr and Root to many are nothing more then Republican turn coats.
I’d have to agree with Bile, check out Barr’s voting record compared to Ron Paul’s. Barr has supposedly ’seen the light,’ but he hasn’t proved it yet.
This is stupid and counter-productive.
Bob is a good guy and he has endorsed the libertarian message.
There are things in his past that trouble me, but we ought to welcome converts.
Give him a chance.
It may be stupid but I doubt it’s counter productive to the liberty movement.
Barr may be a good guy but he has yet to prove himself a good Libertarian presidential candidate. He has seemed to me to be a more a libertarian conservative, not a libertarian.
I’m all for welcoming converts and giving people chances… just not for such a position so quickly.
I agree with Bill Cooke. Pummeling Barr or anyone else who converts and doesn’t have a “pure enough” libertarian view is simply counterproductive.
Barr is out there talking about the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. He is espousing smaller, less intrusive government. He has admitted mistakes and has changed his views significantly.
Instead of beating on him, you should welcome him and encourage him on his journey to libertarianism.
