Radio TowerLiberty activists called WKBK’s Talkback and others call to discuss Ian being jailed for 93 days for contempt of court and failure to pay a fine for his tenants’ allegedly “illegal” couch. Thank you to Rance Muhamitz for recording this.

Please join us in calling the program with a pro-liberty viewpoint. Get details and discuss on this Free Keene forum thread.

It’s not the full show. I’m not sure what was said before the recording started.

Haha, I love the guy who called, about 50 minutes into the MP3, and said that it hurts the economy when people don’t spend their money.

Quite a few sick, twisted callers, especially the guy complaining that Sam was ignorant of how the legal system works. I have to ask “Why should he have to know that crap?”.

Lawyers spend tens of thousands of dollars and at least 8 years of being educated to know that crap and even they don’t know every law there is because there are so many damn laws in existence with more being made every day that they might as well be considered as INFINITE.

It is an unfair system for the average individual let alone someone who can’t afford a lawyer.

Ian’s case is unusual to the average layperson in that he does not wish to participate in their system at all, not even to defend himself by getting a lawyer indoctrinated in their ways.

It is clear that these people do not know how to handle non-participants other than to use violence against them and that they RELISH using such force. They get their sick twisted jollies arresting and incarcerating peaceful people who want nothing more than to be left alone.

A later caller says that there’s no problem since we’re allowed to complain. I would think that speaks for itself, but the hosts don’t seem to take issue with it.

He’s probably an attorney. :) He assumed I would be going after the judge in a civil action seeking monetary damages. Nope, this is criminal. And Burke the Jurke happens to be an practicing attorney. If he’s got unhappy clients, they might be interested in filing bar grievances against him in his attorney capacity. Bubba. His behavior as a judge in court will be addressed with a judicial conduct complaint filed with the NH JDC. It’s going to be fun going after these guys for breaking their own laws.

I’ve spent the last 2 days with Randy Kelton, and learned some really amazing things. :) We are working on a few ways to correct the bureaucrats behavior.

It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of this method that you and Ian learned from Marc Stevens. I cringed everytime Ian said “Are you making an offer?” and “I’m under duress.” as a defense against them slapping him around.

Had it been me instead of Ian, I’d have told the judge and his cronies exactly what I thought about their court and so-called “justice” or lack thereof. Likely, I also would have gotten a lot more time than Ian for doing so.

That said, I hope whatever this plan is of yours works or someone comes up with something else to punish this jackass judge for being such an immoral, conscienceless bastard.

The bottomline here is that Ian accomplished what I think he meant to and that was to show these people for the high-and-mighty, pulling-the-wings-off-butterflies sickos they are. Twisted freaks who gain pleasure from barking their demands and watching the common-folk acquiesce out of fear.

Often I do not agree with Ian’s views or the tactics he uses but this whole thing with Burke just sickens me. Burke is, as Ian would say, a “DESPICABLE!” human being and his actions will only serve to increase the number of activists in Keene.

This podcast was one of the first times that I have heard the other callers (non-liberty oriented), and frankly I was disgusted.

I am not sure how much violence the state has to commit before these people will stop supporting it at all costs. In a lot of ways I think it is a lost cause.

If they cannot concede the idea that 93 days in jail over a couch might be excessive, then what would they concede? They make excuses, like “mold on the couch”, but don’t seem to even consider the idea that if there is a safety hazard that poses a threat to the people of Keene, that perhaps issuing a fine and leaving the couch on the property is not the best way to remedy the safety issue. Imagine if I had a big pile of anthrax sitting in my drive way, do you think the best way to handle that would be to fine me in August and then have a trial in November? Letting those anthrax spores blow around for 3 months, because I took the position that I didn’t want to remove the pile of anthrax. If this was about safety then at the minimum the government has only made things less safe for the people of Keene.
