Rivera “Just Following Orders”?

RiveraLaw Enforcement Against Prohibition speaker and NH police officer Brad Jardis has contacted me about Sgt. Rivera suggesting that he has some special knowledge that may show Sgt. Rivera to be more of an ally than we may realize. Brad seems to think Rivera deserves a fair amount of respect, so we are looking into whether or not Rivera initiated this aggression on his own or whether he was following orders from a higher-ranking KPD officer.

    Wow. Whatever Rivera has to say about the drug war, it’s his actions that count. He had Russell kidnapped and imprisoned for a month. He’s about to do the same to you, babe.

    I’m not saying he’s not culpable for his actions, but if charges will be brought against the bureaucrats, they should ultimately target those who issued the orders. (The chief?)

    I do hope that Jardis is not just guessing, and has specific knowledge of this case.

    Rivera is a nice guy, like many KPD officers, but if he’s the one that pulled the trigger, under order or not, he is responsible.

    Ian is far too quick to call people that say they agree as “allies.”

    Sure he is responsible, but lots of these guys are scared of stepping out of line. If it was the chief who made the call on this, he deserves most of the backlash. (Which will be peaceful, of course.)

    I wouldn’t call him a nice guy.
    But if someone of higher rank is telling him to do this then the non-violent response should be directed at that person.

    Those who give the orders are bad, immoral men… but it is those who take the orders and implement them that are the ones who have infringed on other’s rights and therefore hold the responsibility.

    Both are responsible no doubt. Without the soldiers the chiefs would be harmless and the chiefs do not to issue immoral orders.

    I think its great when people like that start changing their thinking. Of course it takes time. Only a very incredibly tiny number of people hear about freedom and immediately agree with it completely.

    Most people take years to fully understand and accept liberty. Hell, Jardis isn’t all the way there yet; but I’m glad he’s on the right path.

    Rivera (and Maxfield, for that matter) may be still doing bad things, but with our help they may eventually see the light.

    I don’t know him, so I don’t know if he is or is not a nice guy, but I still think by default we should be civil and polite while confronting the police, but by all means be assertive.

    I think a of the police around here have a feeling of what’s right and wrong, but fear doing “the right thing” because they’ll be punished for doing so.

    Absolutely. Need to be at least as professional as they are supposed to be. Things like yelling “Nazi” and such which occurred at Andrew’s protest tarnish our perception I think.

    Presentation is very important for many people. We need to take advantage of that. Speak well, dress well, no hostility.

    Eli can suck my balls. I’ve heard him talk shit about me in front of the judge, and as prosecutor this is job. But he’s a piece of shit in my opinion.

And no, Herr Wehrmacht, he’s NOT “cool, just doing his job”…he’s a bully with a badge. A BULLY WITH A BADGE. I’ve had bad run-ins w/Eli since 1995. He is poorly trained, & poorly supervised. Why do you think that he’s Police Persecutor??? Maybe because he can’t be trusted out in Public???…If Eli is any “friend” of L.E.A.P., it’s only because he’s a dirty cop. Eli is so angry, that he’s *DANGEROUS*. I have been victimized by him repeatedly, most recently, directly, in Nov., 2005. He *LIED* repeatedly about both his, & my, actions. I don’t hate Eli, I’m just afraid of his out-of-control violence. He thinks he can get away with *ANYTHING*, just because he’s a cop. That’s almost literally true. Go back & look at his actions(on youtube, or this site…), at last Falls’ Freedom Fest in Keene. He’s running around like the proverbial head-less chicken. That dude needs some serious therapy. Actions *DO* speak louder than words. And Eli’s actions scream, “I’m a f**king a**hole, & a bully with a badge.I’m in so deep over my head, that I’m OUT OF CONTROL. In addition to *SWORN FALSIFICATION*, he has also lied in Court against me, too. It is **NOT** “his job” to “talk shit” about anybody to the judge. As Police Persecutor, his “job” is to present the State’s Prosecution case, **NOT** to “talk shit”… Or, to glare at me in Court, hoping to provoke a response…Bottom line, Rivera is a *BAD COP*. The good cops should have shit-canned him *YEARS* ago…As for Maxfield, *HE* has *ALWAYS* treated me with professional courtesy and respect, even when doing his job. Sure, I didn’t *like* what Maxfield had to do to me, but the *WAY* he did it left me respecting him. Maxfield is *DOING* his job well. Rivera is *ABUSING* his authority. Please don’t ever confuse the 2. SEMPER FI, SHANE! but, SWIM YOUR WET-BACK ASS BACK TO PURTO RICO, PUTA RIVERA! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE, ASSHOLE!
