Statist Calls out Liberty Activists on WKBK’s “Talkback” – 1/24 & 1/31 Double Archive

Radio TowerLiberty activists called WKBK’s Talkback the past two Saturdays and discussed education, development, the city prosecutor’s aggression against Freedom Fest organizer Mike Barskey, and public areas. Listen as host and city councilor Cynthia actually claims that local laws trump the constitution! Plus, this week’s featured statist caller claims all Free Staters are violent because one of them made a mistake in his past.

The statist also makes an observation that liberty-oriented callers to the show have dropped off, and he’s right. Over the past two weeks, only OTN’s Sam and I have called. The unfortunate fact is, the authoritarians are still the bulk of call load on this show. If you are awake on Saturday mornings, we could really use your help!     Ian, I wonder why you don’t go a step further when arguing about jail time. When you say if he doesn’t pay the fine, he’ll go to jail. But what if he resists arrest because he doesn’t want to be kidnapped? Is shooting this man justified for the simple fact that didn’t ask permission to assemble a group in public?

    And the guy who said that the host is more peaceful than a free-starter because she hasn’t taken part of any murders is quite funny. The only reason statists have power is because of the threat of violence, but we know that. They like to laugh it off as something that we should just accept because you know, if you disagree with them, we’re bad people who deserve to be shot.

    Granted I’ve only listen to a few of these talk backs, but I live in a different country. I do wish you guys luck in your calls tho, it must be frustrating for you to talk to someone on a weekly basis who believes that people should die because they disagree with her.

    Cynthia is less violent than all of the Free Staters because one of them was an accessory to murder years before he joined the Free State Project.

    Brilliant stuff.

    They really do not like talking to Sam. It seems like every time he calls they simply will not engage him.

    This time even Ian got the short shrift to some extent, because when he got to an uncomfortable truth Cynthia simply dismissed him with “I can’t debate this with you, you do it all the time and I rarely do”.
