Live Video: Military Humvees in Keene
I uploaded this live to Free Keene yesterday. Seven camo military humvees with men and women in camo, some of them armed, stopped off at the T-Bird on West St. to grab food and drink, then headed northwest up Route 12. Kind of a scary sight.
I’d like to take a moment to remind our readers that Free Keene is a peaceful movement. I want mankind to evolve naturally and peacefully to the voluntary society. Liberty loving people will never threaten you if you don’t join our way of life. We won’t lower ourselves to the level of the government people. They are the ones willing to hurt peaceful people and aggress against their neighbors. Always remember who resorts to violence to get their way: the men and women calling themselves the state.

I live literally 10 minutes from the plant that makes the Hummer and so I see huge groups of them all of the time and the people are always in camo. I don’t know if they’re armed, but it’s still unsettling to see them driving down the road.
My guess would be that it’s Army (National Guard) doing their “Drill Weekend”
On one weekend a month, they’ll meet up at their local building and drive (in a convoy, like you filmed) to their training destination (usually some military installation) and do training.
There have been a few occasions where I’ve spotted a single humvee traveling up route 12, which I thought was kind of weird, since they usually travel in convoys.
I’ve been in such convoys across the state (WI) for Nat’l Guard training. The last thing that crossed my mind was harming Americans. In fact, that was something that was not even joked about. It was unthinkable back in the mid 90s.
What you should do is look for the unit ID on the back and front of the hummers. It is usually located on the bottom corners of the chassis. With that you can find out whether it is NG, Army Res, Army or whatever.
I have seen Humvees on a couple of separate occasions on route 12.
They were MP’s. There is a Reserve armory in Keene and it’s common for “weekend warriors” to meet at their armory’s and convoy to a base.
Them being in camo is what soldiers wear when on duty, which is almost always. If they were armed with pistols then they were likely MP’s.
When in Savannah we convoyed to a base outside the city with rifles to go to the rifle range etc.
It really doesn’t mean anything.
any action in reaction to this event intensifies its ability to inspire fear in our collective conciousness. they scare me though, so its(i think) a good move to have it documented.
