SamPolitical prisoner Sam recorded a special message for last night’s candlelight vigil. Nearly fifty people came out at 9pm on a Sunday night in Keene to participate. In case you couldn’t be there in person, here it is in .mp3 form.

Also, here is Lauren Canario’s video of yesterday’s protest at the jail (with a turnout of at least 19 people!) and last night’s candlelight vigil:

I hope that abortion of a fag stays locked up until he’s legally sane once again.

You seem a little upset anonymous. Take a second to compose yourself and lets try again. What exactly is your problem with Sam?

Could you clarify what exactly you mean by “abortion of a fag”?

I should have looked it up prior to my last comment but it seems that “abortion of a fag” is a Internet first here at FreeKeene.com. Congratulations anonymous.

Govt is not only aggression, it is the lack of accountability. It has indoctrinated people like “anonymous” so much that s/he doesn’t even think before s/he writes.

If “anonymous” does have a reason for their anger, they didn’t communicate it. My assumption is that they are having a knee-jerk reaction to something that’s different. Most of us are taught by schools, religious icons, parents, etc., that gov tis good and anything different is bad. So when you’re old enough, you react to such things without thinking. What did Sam do that was bad? What did he do that makes him legally insane (or insane)? Nothing. I’d be surprised if “anonymous” even knows what Sam did (and did not do) do get arrested. I assume (again) that “anonymous” heard that Sam was in jail and we want him out and “anonymous” just assumed that Sam must deserve to be there and anyone who is brave enough not to comply with laws they disagree with must be legally insane. Sam’s anti-government, after all. He’s different!

And “Anonymous” isn’t even in New Hampshire.

Did I hear right that Sam is on hunger strike?

  7. Mike on Tue, 21st Apr 2009 11:53 am

I believe he has been on hunger strike since day 1, and still is.

Well he doesn’t do a Bobby Sands he has much to contribute

according to my sources, it is a solid food hunger strike. Anything liquid is still on the table for consumption. So, pulling a Bobby Sands probably isn’t going to happen.
