No, no. As Ian pointed out:

Varrin was saying that he is tired of the silly antics that the government has been pulling – such as arresting non-violent people.

Varrin approves of the protests. He just thinks cops putting us in handcuffs over them is silly.

Hopefully that sentence doesn't cause too much confusion for people reading it.

So this guy is the president of a movement which favors no specific tactics, but at the same time disapproves of the tactics others wish to pursue? No,no hypocrisy here folks. My interest in the FSP has just waned to nothing.
