Loch Leviathan

The Leviathan grows and consumes
It’s great maw is a place of Doom
teeth like guns
cold blood runs
heartbreak
earth quake
now sealed
your fate

One gaze and you are held in shackles
Left in confusion, the great beast cackles
Its claws pierce through
what privacy you knew

The armor is thick with the strength of apathy
the guise is flawed; to protect me from me

In its right hand a pen
made to write and rule men

In its left hand the scales of justice
behold, the great beast rolls loaded dice

All that’s left to decide is how you will pay
If you work with us, you can go home today

The great Chris Rock, when speaking about the illusionist David Blaine, waxed eloquent anent the irony of what he called a "trick-less magician". After reading the tome above, some might be tempted to ponder the absurdity of a poet who cannot write. To those shallow souls I must protest: nay, nay. The genius of this man, whose work must be regarded on the same lofty plain as Byron, Keats and Homer Simpson, is simply WITHOUT PEER. His command of the basic English language is indeed an inspiration to us all, a compelling example of the intellectual nurturing that can occur when a man spends most of his waking hours running a Leonard Nimoy fan club out of his mother's basement. Classics like these don't come around very often, my friends:

    "It’s claws pierce through"

(Translation: "It is claws pierce through")

In it’s right hand a pen

(Translation: "In it is right-hand pen")

In it’s left hand the scales of justice

(Translation: "In it is left-hand scales of justice")

You see, understanding that a contraction is a combining of two words is a statist notion, inculcated into the minds of poor slaves by oppressive government schools. Kudos to this hero for his courageous example in refusing to knuckle under to cowardly, propagandistic notions of coherency. I salute you, sir!!

Thanks for the criticism. I corrected part of it, the "-" will remain flawed.

Ann, you sure are tactless. Did you practice to be this bad?

"Liberty Activist Pays Property Tax in $1 Bills

In protest of government people’s continued aggression against peaceful human beings, I decided to pay the latest Keene property tax bill, over $2700, in all ones. I brought pizza to share with those who were inconvenienced, gave a short speech, and Sam from the Obscured Truth Network brought his video camera. As usual, the bureaucrat aggressors did not like the cameras:"

So, let me see. You show up at a city office where city workers are simply doing jobs that a vast majority of Keene's citizens believe is necessary. Instead of paying your tax bill in a way that these workers could conventionally and easily process, you pay in a way that is designed to cause difficulty and frustration. You bring them fast food they didn't request, and to top it all off, you make them endure one of your kooky, poorly-informed diatribes.

Sure, Ian; you are absolutely the soul of tact and considerate behavior. And of course, self-delusion.

They make me endure their taxes. What you resist persists, what you give you receive.

They make you pay for services you use. That's sensible, unless you propose that you be allowed to steal those services.

  • http://freetalklive.com/ Ian

Sorry, but you are incorrect. I don't use all their services. I'd like to pay for what I use, thanks.

  • JJ

Ann I admire your persistence. Will I ever get to meet you in person?

it's easy to take the inventory of others from the solitude of their keyboard. Keep your inventory locked up tight no one would want to find out your skeletons.

RE: Post # 81822 above. Ann, the hyphens in your "translation" are *NOT PRESENT* in the original. Also, they are incorrect. Misuse of possesives & apostophes is near ubiquitous. If you're gonna get all snarky and arrogant about picayunities, please unplug your computer first. You *would* impress me, if you *could* impress me, I'm sure. BTW, I hope I'm not the first guy to ask you this. In all sincerity. Do you prefer to think of yourself as a *BITCH*, or a *CUNT*???…Feel free to call *me* whatever you want. *MY* armor is thick with the strength of apathy…grrrr-ly-girl….

    Ann, darling.

Beginning around the sixteenth century, the original possessive form of the pronoun "it" was "it's". You're just too modern for JJ.

Oh, and your usage of the hyphen, totally incorrect.

Your attempt at pedantry was unimpressive.
