With 4 Keene area activists in jail and the Fall Free Keene planned for tomorrow, why not take the show on the road and stop by the Cheshire County Department of Corrections located in Westmoreland, NH?
Want to have a party? Bring a party!

Who are the four? I believe there are three – Evan. Ryan and the guy in the yellow jacket, i.e. Yadra. Dan, Rich and Noah were released. I’ve seen each of them tonight, free-ish.
Kurt’s been in since October 2.
“Well its evil, wicked, mean, and nasty!”
…it’s so much easier to infiltrate my troops into the enemy camp, when the enemy brings them in, than it is to get their lazy asses jobs at the jail…hmmm…
While i am in support of the legalization of marijuana I think your approach is rude and insensitive. I do not think legalization of marijuana is your main goal. You simply want to rile up the police and make them look bad. These officers have sworn to uphold the law, no matter what it is. If the law says that marijuana is illegal then they have to enforce it. Leave them alone, they are simply making our lives easier and upholding the law. Let them do their job, wait for your little free stater buddies to go through the legal process. In the mean time, buzz off.
I’m an atheist, very liberal, strong advocate of evolution, and can see what your true motive is.
You’re also an arrogant douchebag.
Hey RationalThinker,
Look this up:
brevard spy files
THEN tell me how cops are “simply making our lives easier and upholding the law”, and how we should all “go through the legal process” to reform the system.
RationalThinker: They all have the ability to use discretion when it comes to up holding any law. They don’t have to do anything they don’t want to its all up to them.
I believe what the Irrational Robot meant to say is that the police are out making it easier for him/her to inflict his/here morality on the world. You say you support legalization of a harmless plant, but what is your approach? To simply state your opinion on the matter? To beg the legislature that clearly represents cherry-picked constituents for another generation or two? The entire political process is predicated on ceding control of one’s life to the whim of their neighbor.
The only true motivation is to start living like free people instead just saying we are. The only “crime” these men committed was being insolent to the idol of the State. Not a single person or their property was harmed, there is no one who can claim being victimization – unless you count their fragile sensibilities. It amazes me the endless stream of apologists that stream forth to try and legitimize this bullshit. The police certainly are not making Evan’s life easier. Demonize the demonstrators as worthless, dirty, lazy, or whatever you want.
This is what it looks like when people stand up and start demanding recognition of their rights and sovereignty.
Vix is absolutely correct.
I *am* a police officer in New Hampshire and have been for 10+ years.
Earlier on in my career I began enforcing a law that my bosses didn’t like (NH RSA 266:18-f). I was pressured to stop enforcing it. Same is true for other laws the higher-ups didn’t like.
Interestingly, our Code of Ethics says we should respect peoples right to “liberty.” Is this really compatible with imprisoning people for having a plant that can grow in the forest?
Why don’t police enforce laws like the “No operating machinery on Sunday” law?
It’s still on the books. Must be that discretion thing!
To Rationalthinker
It’s interesting that you describe yourself as an atheist and then afterwards spout off your one true religion. Belief in the state. Maybe it’s time to let go of your other religion. Checkout Dalebert’s video, “Rejecting the religion of statism.”
“These officers have sworn to uphold the law, no matter what it is.”
And that is the problem.
Swearing to enforce whatever rules another person comes up with, no matter how arbitrary or abusive, is a pretty insane and immoral thing to do.
Thankfully, they do have discretion. It’s time they used it to stop harassing people who haven’t harmed anyone, and go after real criminals.
Thanks for the Law Enforcement Against Prohibition link, Bradley Jardis! Some of us civvies(*NOT “skivvies*!!!…)got you guys’ backs! If you can cover our 420, we can cover your 6! Been too long since I visited the website!…and to all you state-TARDS, yes, every cop does have the statutory discretion to *NOT* make pointless, flex-cop-dick-muscle arrests…&No, tardheads, they are not just doing “their” jobs, they are supposed to be working *FOR* us, not working *ON* us!…It’s the obvious, twisted pleasure *SOME* cops get from crap like these arrests, that irks me. Just because the 420 crowd is a bunch of annoying, loud-mouth punks, doesn’t mean the cops have to be so blatant, does it???…
Whoa, hey Bradley — I missed your post! Thank you for your bravery, to stand up for what’s right in such an adverse environment.
Is Evan out yet? He’s my brother and I haven’t heard from him. If any of you see him please tell him to call home.
Disregard the above post. I heard from him. Thanks
*MAGISTERLUDI*???…WTF!?!?!?…First Hesse reference I’ve seen on here!…Hope your brother’s better than mine! My brothers’ a REAL ASSHOLE! I haven’t heard from him in years! How is YOUR BROTHER doing?…Good, I hope!. (I always liked Goldmund best…Narcissus was a twit…)
