Free Stater Hunting Season is Open

Filed under: Corruption, Jailed Activist, Police, Thuggery — smeg at 3:11 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Today I witnessed something that I found so shockingly callus, while at the same time unsurprising.

I went to Keene City Hall to file the asinine “required papers” to capture video of the ‘public trial’ Burke is holding for Sam this Friday.  As I came into the 2nd floor lobby, the bailiff recognized me, and I gave him a friendly smile and a ‘Hello’.  The bureaucrat behind the window began looking for some information I requested, I noticed a state trooper walking around in the area behind the counter.  As he exited through the side door, and entered the hallway that leads into the courtroom, I could no longer see him; however, when he began to speak to the bailiff, I could hear him plainly:

“Hey, remember those Free Staters we got the other day?  We just got him again!”

He exclaimed this in a tone of absolute joy, and then began laughing.

Because the bailiff had recognized me upon entering the lobby, he had attempted to silence the trooper after the words ‘remember those Free Staters’.  Whether he was trying to protect the trooper from exposing themselves as the heartless thugs they are, or protecting me from hearing an official degrade my friends and family, is unclear to me.  However, when I shot him a look of shock mixed with sadness, and asked who it was, his tone became very ashamed and apologetic.

This brought front and center the attitude of the state towards peaceful people who object to their brutal treatment.  They are hunters and we are the game.

It’s not politically correct to be a free stater, because of their political intolerance.

If you don’t believe that the state is your societal and personal savior — You will be punished for blasphemy (Kurt asked please and was sent to jail for 180 days for it) and imprisoned for silence. (Sam, Yadra and Brandon have proven this.)

One day I will stop paying their extortion money and they will probably laugh as they steal my house.

I don’t know how much longer I can handle funding this violence. Their next demand will be coming soon. I have no other ideas beyond paying in dollars again, but I’d like to come up with something different.

Naw, the dollars were enough work on my part. Plus, you can’t stamp pennies and I don’t really relish pushing a wheelbarrow or a pallet jack full of pennies.

Most mafia collection agencies have had to combat penny protests in the past and have adapted. Keep them on their toes – maybe if we can get a bunch of people, atleast 3 or 4, to show up and pay in dollars.

It’s not an answer, as you know, but it makes people think.

I understand Ian’s position. He has a great educational program. If he gets thrown in jail, or loses his house, his program dies. It is one of the most educational programs there are out there. In fact, I would say it is the most important show on air. I bet that if Ian’s work were not so important, that he would stop paying property taxes immediately.

ian – do they allow you to pay with a check? you could write checks for 1 penny each, instead of hauling in pennies.

Comment by observer

October 22, 2009 @ 10:50 am

Or Ian could just pay it and move on with his life until next time. Just so long as we’re clear that doing it in pennies or whatever is only going to make more difficult the day of the person taking the money who has no hand in the way things are. It may make you feel better (I’ve done things like this myself) but in the end you aren’t doing anything but making yourself feel better and pissing off some one who more than likely doesn’t deserve it.

Comment by Ian

October 22, 2009 @ 11:21 am

They have a hand in it. If no one would do their job, the state couldn’t collect its precious revenue.

They should stop participating in extortion.

As far as the checks idea, it would cost a fortune in checks. Those things are expensive. Not to mention the time I’d have to invest.

Comment by smeg

October 22, 2009 @ 11:34 am

make a suit made of money, and tell them they have to undress you to get paid?

pay it in gold and silver, and if they refuse, make them sign something saying you offered to pay in legal tender, and they decided they didn’t want your money?

give a speech about ‘dirty money’, and give them ACTUAL dirty money (this could be fun… just bring a pair of gloves for when you hand it to them… so your hands don’t get messy)

Comment by thinkliberty

October 22, 2009 @ 11:41 am

Oberserver,

The person taking the money benefits financially from collecting the extortion money, might have a harder job to do. Cry me a river.

Pissing off someone who more than likely deserves it, might make you feel better. — They deserve it for being an accessory to extortion.

The person taking the extortion money might also decide at some point to go into a honest line of work, for a business that is not in the habit of extorting it’s customers.

If people want something, they are generally happy to pay for it.

When you threaten people with violence, if they don’t want to buy what you are offering, it generally pisses people off.

Comment by Jim Davidson

October 22, 2009 @ 12:23 pm

Pay it in one dollar bills, but be sure to wipe your backside with each one.

The bureau-rat who collects the money is the system. The system is theft and extortion and kidnapping. Sometimes the system is murder, assault, and rape.

By taking her paycheck in stolen money the bureau-rat who collects the fees is taking part in the system, and is a part of the problem.

As Ian suggests, one does not want her to be hurt or killed, just to quit. All she has to do to stop being part of the system and to stop being a subject of protests is to quit. She can work in the private sector for money that isn’t stolen.

I don’t think any of the gross ideas are advisable. I like the check idea but it would be expensive. Is there any way to print a large number of personal checks, or must all checks be issued by the bank itself? If the information and signature could be printed as well, this might actually work. I know some companies certainly print the signature.

As long as all the information needed to route and process the check is there they have to accept it. Hell, you could right a bash script and print them all out on normal computer paper just like quicken and any number of programs. And the sig can be stamped.

YET.

How could this be? It must be infinitely frustrating to be so morally and intellectually advanced, and yet have absolutely nothing to show for it. What a burden it must be to live in a community where 99.99% of the population either thinks you’re a passive-aggressive jackass or has simply never heard of you. The solution? Wear your complete lack of effectiveness as a badge of honor. Because actually achieving something would be an indication that you had stooped to the level of us poor heathens. Continual failure is a success, because you’re the only one who understands how “special” you are. A sweet and convenient construct.

Of course, EG would stop having to question his assumptions, and would be able to go back to the delusion that everyone consents to having their money extorted from them by his favorite gang, and is happy to have violence enacted on them whenever they don’t obey any and every absurd diktat some bureaucrat feels like writing down.

As we both know, your presence here and the manner in which you stir shit ultimately reveals some basic info about your origins, Spoonlicker. You can be one of only 5 basic things.

1. A non-NH online previously and/or presently socially networked troll.

2. A freelance online non-NH troll with no loyalties to the social scene.

3. A lower level departmental plant whose mortgage is giving him such a shit shower watering daily, he’s quite happy to take orders and chew on his tongue’s conscience like Satan’s bulldog eating custard.

4. A previous, current, future (or all of the tenses) psychopath who’s weighing up diving into the Liberty movement to inspire real life carnage, either online, offline, or both.

5. A local with the means to effectively proxy back.

I reckon you’re two of those, but I’m assured of one.

Which is why you need to give this scene a miss before it’s made to be in your best interest. You only have the power whilst in your comfort zone and you can be quite easily removed from it, at leasure.

Ever so sincerely,

Stop this charade, and stop wasting my tax dollars doing it. I’m all for limited government, dare i call my self a constitutionalist or libertarian, but for godsakes, all your doing is pathetically attempting to draw attention to yourselves. Just like with peace, there isn’t a ‘way’ to freedom, freedom is the way. Declare your freedom and act freely, they can’t keep up the facade AND harass ALL of us…

Why should I have to change your bullshit system? I don’t believe in it, so I don’t care what it says – my goal isn’t to change it, interestingly enough. They just need to leave me alone – they can oppress anyone else that wants to live in the system all they want; it’s not my right to tell you that you can’t be a slave if you want to be one.

Bullying peaceful people over some plants and extorting money from them is how adults are supposed to act, kids.

“you mean arbitrarily lashing out and wasting my tax dollars? ”

Arbitrary? You defend the state and accuse US of being arbitrary? Do you pay attention at all?
And nobody here is ‘wasting your tax dollars’. The thugs that took that money from you are wasting it, and you need to be pissed at them for wasting your money on telling people what to do.

“a bunch of delusional sci-fi fans who have read half of milton f’s free to chose, and have seen braveheard and the patriot 20+ times does not a political movement make.”

Pretty much none of this makes any sense. Do you like fabricating things in your head and imposing your delusions on others?

i think the purpose of this post is lost by thomstele… in fact, i can’t tell (based on the content of his comments) if he even read it.

as i posted here, i overheard a trooper explain, make no mistake about it, that him and his buddies in law enforcement have made targeting and arresting people they group together as “Free Staters” into a game played for it’s entertainment value. how do you use the system to fix that?

looking at history, whenever a consensus among ‘authorities’ in government has been made to target people who are part of a ‘group’ (race, religion, political devotions, etc…) and make efforts to enact ‘legitimate violence’ on them, it is now generally considered to be a bad thing. we may not be getting shot down or tortured to death (despite many people telling us on here that they advocate that).

however, does it really have to go that far before we are allowed to say it should stop?

if they start brutally raping, stabbing, beating, killing, etc.. us, can we then stand up and act out against it?

how come we can’t just do that now, so we can live without fear that it could ever come to that point?

isn’t the fact that because we disagree with the way government treats people IS THE REASON we are targeted for mistreatment a sign that they are not doing the right thing?

and do you think it’s right that these troopers arrest and lock up my family for entertainment, not safety, at your expense?

this post was made to show those things. we are not costing tax payers a penny, the ones who have made a game of hunting us are using your money to play their game. if they left us alone, and got into playing cards or racing boats… would you be willing to pay for that form of entertainment instead?

I’m not comparing myself or anyone else to Gandhi but he certainly was a masterful practitioner of civil disobedience. I consider his teachings inspirational and based on his success and the success of civil disobedience in general would like to think that CD can continue to work for us.

Your discounting of people who have just begone to disobey, utilizing proven teachings, in favor of a system that is a proven failure is the real joke here.

I’d like to ask you, what’s your purpose for saying the things you say? Why do you hate people who just want to be left alone so much?
