In Vermont,even the laws of nature take a backseat to the words of a policeman.I was riding with my son in his truck,and we had stopped.I looked down the road and a Windhan County sheriff car was there.There was also a 35 mph sign between us.I pointed both out,and we drove past.The cop followed and pulled us over for 50 in a 35,and wrote the ticket.Fat prick,he was actually eating something during the stop.We took it to court and a trial by judge.I did the research and the calculus,and proved that it was impossible for anything less than a dragster to reach 50 mph in the distance stated,and cited the proofs.The judge said he would take it under advisement,and we later got a decision,time dated 2 hours after we left,that although the proofs worked,he had to take the word of a police officer,and found my son guilty.It was worth it,because otherwise we would have gone of thinking things like the Law of Gravity and Einsteins theory were all true.Since they are not recognised by the State of Vermont,I am awaiting the arrival of the flying car,an invention that was promised when I was a kid. I also await the next occasion for a court appearance,when I can question the competence of the judge.

Remember,court is just a game,we are not players,we are just tokens passing through.Those people are there every day,it is just a job,it is not a court of justice but a court of law.If you realize this before you get there,you are better off and can even have some fun.Just remember that fun isn't always free. —bil

The remedy does work as it prevents them from gaining jurisdiction over you. They only have jurisdiction over you if you admit being in a vehicle as they cannot prove this because a commercial component must exist (fee for transport).

It's not complicated. If you demonstrate this in court, they will always withdraw the charges to keep this information off of the record.

That is why each individual must learn to do this for themselves. I can show you my key and tell you how it works, however you must make your own key for the lock.

Oh and BTW, they are not laws, they are statutes. Please learn this concept as it is paramount to comprehending the remedy.

No state owns you as slavey has been repealed. You are controled by statutes which you must consent to to be governed by. You bind yourself through consent. Keep researching.

Oh yeah – that DWI offense isn't that shocking to me, similar applications of DWI law have been made in many states to people that were sleeping it off in bar parking lots, in private apartment complexes, and in various types of inoperable vehicles (e.g. they had no keys, the car wouldn't start, they were in the back seat).

The State owns you, at least in their eyes (though they'll never admit it, even to themselves).

While that might be a nice little loophole using their state-speech, It's not fool proof. They will still apply their law as they see fit, even if you can use their words against them.

The solution is to realize that those words on paper, whatever they are, don't bind you. You are not a slave to leviathan, and you shouldn't have to play their games to retain your freedom.

The remedy is in the word "vehicle" which has a commercial component. A drivers/operators licence allows you to operate in commerce (research Winston Shrout).

Blacks Law defines Vehicle as: 1.Something used as an instrument of conveyance. 2. Any conveyance used in the transportation of passengers or things by land, water, or air. (note the commercial aspect)

Conveyance: The voluntary transfer of a right or of property

If you are not in a conveyance, you have not traansfered any rights (common law right to mobility)

Transportation: 1. The movement of goods or persons from one place to anotherby a carrier.

Carrier: An individual or organization (such as a shipowner, a railroad, or an airline) that contracts to transport passengers or goods for a fee.

The remedy is in the words. You plead guilty upon proof of claim that you were engaged in the act of transporting persons or goods for a fee. If this can not be demonstrated in court, then you could not be in a vehicle and thus the statute does not apply.

The conviction is valid, however, the appellant had a poor (IMHO) defence.

Spread the word. The remedy is there for everyone.
