The original intent was to get this out on President’s Day but it snuck up on me. Then I thought I’d do it for Abraham Lincoln’s birthday which I’ve incorrectly believed to be the 22nd for years now. Yes, that’s Washington’s birthday. I know that now. I’m already sufficiently embarrassed but go ahead and make fun of me for it in the comments. Anyway, it doesn’t matter because I didn’t quite finish it yesterday before I had to take off for some volunteer work I had been scheduled for. So here it is late enough to seem completely off topic.

    Correct me if I’m wrong…Wasn’t Lincoln the *FIRST* president elected as a member of the “Republican Party”???…While you may see your “enemy/enemies” as being “gov’t”, I say instead that the *ONLY* *TRUE* *ENEMIES* of America are the DEMOCRATS & REPUBLICANS! The U.S. Constitution does not even mention, or imagine either political party. The 2 “parties” are therefore *NON-CONSTITUTIONAL. (note: *NOT* “unconstitutional”…) Effective, safe, small, yet globally powerful Federal Gov’t does *NOT* require political parties!. The Constitution does not *REQUIRE*, nor *CREATE* *EITHER PARTY! Only *AFTER* the total elimination of partisan politics, will America begin to prosper. To continue to snipe at specific persons, and to constantly argue over minutia and trivia only distracts you from more rewarding efforts…Your targets should be the bi-polar disordered Dems&Reps…Yes, I’m finally in a majority of something. I’m a voter. Registered Independent. There’s more Registered Independents in NH, than either Republicans or Democrats…We don’t want “bi-partisan” *ANYTHING*!!!…We want NON-PARTISAN EVERYTHING! In all serious honesty, I believe that you people should kidnap(yes, *KIDNAP*)leading local Republican/Democratic leaders. I suggest Tim Robertson & Kendall Lane as excellent, deserving first targets. Hold them hostage. Waterboard them. Get them to sign statements publicly renouncing their anti-American activities. Get all the publicity machine going. Then, after a few weeks, or months, let them go. Why shouldn’t freestaters have their own re-education camps, such as the one which Cheshire County runs in Westmoreland???…How about that new re-education facility set to open soon in Marlborough, on Rte. 101???…Why can’t you people get your shit together? Look what Lincoln did during the Civil War – was *THAT* “AMERICAN”???… In closing, Dale, please allow me to suggest an idea for a new cartoon: Start with the new “anarchists’ war-cry”, to be used in defiance in the face of the aggressors: “Turcotte me, English! Turcotte me!!!(…and I thought Swanzey P.D. was cool w/their “one clip/one kill” policy”…Here in Keene, now, we have a *ONE SHOT/ONE KILL” policy! Now *THAT’S* CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS fer ya’!!!…See what happens when you put U.ncle S.am’s M.arijauna C.lub on the job! SEMPER FI/HOO-AH!……whatever…….
