Answer: “No”.

Statism is definitely a religion. I put in in a slightly different light when I wrote the beginning of the FTL wiki article on Democracy.

You said you went there fully expecting to go to jail for a few days, thus making it more expensive “for them”.

Paparoo, stop paying. If you can stomach the idea of having your house stolen, kids stolen, homelessness or jail time, then stop paying; if you can’t stomach that, then keep paying, but don’t blame Dale for your situation.

You don’t seriously believe that the mafia will actually reduce how much they take from you based on wether or not they (the mafia) saves money, do you? You are acting like you actually believe that if everyone would pay their dues, taxes, fees, etc. on time and with a smile, then that will stop the mafia.
The mafia is after one thing: control over you.

And your asking Dale to stop resisting is how the mafia gets it. The mafia doesn’t have to beat Dale down mentally and emotionally. That’s what you’re doing. And that is far mor effective than night sticks, tazers, and guns. You are the tool of mafia.

Stop being a tool. Start seeing the people in government for what they are: a mafia. And stop acting like if we all bow down to the abusers they will stop abusing us.

@Paparoo, I don’t blame you for being mad, but as Fraker said in a long-winded way your anger is mis-directed. I’m glad if this is making you think about it. Your money is being stolen and the justification for that theft is really flimsy– so they can threaten innocent people over really silly things.

Have you ever heard of the notary protest or notary certificate of judgement method?

Look it up online. Lots of people are having success by not having to go to court at all! These methods use the uniform commercial code, common law, against the de facto government. If you do not go into dishonor you do not go to court. Its an administrative rebellion.

Shaeffer Cox in Fairbanks Alaska is also having success in establishing common law courts.

Robert Menard, Irene Gravenhorst and many others are having success with this method.
