Sam Dodson Gets 6 Days in Jail
Filed under: Jailed Activist, Obscured Truth Network, Police, Thuggery, Video
This story starts way back when Sam had been previously held captive by the Keene thugs in blue. While being held in jail for holding a camera in a public area, Sam’s license had apparently been suspended. Although Eli Rivera lied on the witness stand and said he had given the ‘defense’ all the information they had on Sam, there was nothing in the files Sam had received to make him aware that the Keene PD had knowledge of his license being suspended. So it was to his surprise when he was arrested for driving while under a suspension while leaving the very court room Rivera had just testified to the Keene PD not being aware of his suspension. During the trial for this “crime”, Sam noted multiple crimes being committed by the agents of the state (the judge, prosecutor, etc…); as well as, the judge made up several facts (like a name for Sam that he does not go by, and information about a license that has never been seen by anyone in the court except Sam). When he was found guilty, and ordered to pay $300, he refused. I assume it was on the grounds that he owes them nothing, and their justice system is too corrupt to determine crimes and punishments. As a result, he will be spending the next 6 days in the Cheshire County Corrections Facility.
Also, shortly after being taken away in chains by armed thugs, some guys under the direction of the same state bullies towed Sam’s car from outside the courtroom. Luckily we have a wonderful enough activist support base that we were able to get his car back before the daily charges started piling on during Sam’s stay in jail.

For the record, Sam is a hero.
Thank you Sam!
Judges really don’t like it when you tell them that they are wrong. Good Job Sam!
Good job, Sam.
Listening to the “options” given by the “judge” (cough cough cough), I had to laugh but it made me think… What constitutes a charity? Can a charity in NH be set up which aids those who oppose the State and are being penalized by the State? If it can, would that option still be offered by the judge in such cases? Could the judge choose which charity he’d like or block which charity Sam donated 300.00 towards? It could be a can of worms.
There could be a charity for Free Staters/Free Keeners that could accept all the “donations” forced by these guys upon those protecting their rights, or performing activist duties. Going to jail costs many time and money, why not turn the tables on their plot to steal money and give it back to yourselves?
It’s almost a Win/Lose in “OUR” favor if you think about it. All who stand against these bullies can do so and continue to support the causes thus creating a WIN, and they LOSE the fines, plus pay all the court costs.
Maybe at some point they will see they are only losing money upholding silly laws while some charity that is working to abolish those laws becomes quite healthy and robust.
PS If you like the idea, please let me know!!! If not let me know, and why, thanks.
I already though that there were “charities” existing within the Liberty Community.
CDevolution.com? mail-to-jail.com? Those two sort of come to mind right away.
I doubt they would let you donate to anything but their pre-approved charities.
Soup kitchen is a good cause though. Here’s an idea — one could set up a regular $50 donation per month to the soup kitchen, and if the goons demand, say, $300, just pay it to the soup kitchen, and suspend regular donations for 6 months.
Im sure there do have charities already. And thats fine, I was thinking more of one created for this very purpose though, with a specially chosen role within chairtyville…
Doubt is one thing, to know is another. I watched the trial of Russel Kanning and the judge said he could pick any charity he wanted as long as it wasnt one he worked for. He asked again for clarification later and the judge was adamant about that point…any charity as long as he wasnt part of it personally. So, have this thing established in a single or small group name and only if that person or small handful were arrested would it ever be a problem of donating, THEN they could donate to whoever. Anyways, this charity itself could decide on giving moneys to other charities after the donations are made, but the idea is to prove a point to the govt about victimless crimes and activism.
Tell me if you know, was Sam Dodson incarcerated prior to the hearing? Down here you are shackled to another man for hours then unshackled from eachother but you go to court in shackles made out of 3 handcuffs and 3 pieces of chain, your feet can barely shuffle around, your hands are stuck at waist level, you have to turn sideways to scratch your name with a pen on any documents, and when you (if you) get food or drink, yeah try to eat it like that, good luck with your drink. I was shackled so tight I spent hours pulling the chain out on the in breath and reoleasing it on the outbreath, they refused to loosen it when I told them I couldnt breathe. I was incarcerated for 5 Days in Supermax FOR DOING NOTHING WRONG, and before I saw the judge, I was released after the night of the arraignment but they were doing riot training so in addition to throwing stun bombs into the building they were shutting off the power for large chunks of time leaving us inmates in the tiny holding cells, in the dark. Unfortunately none of us were released for another day though, because with the power off the huge sliding doors that are impossible to destroy can not be opened, talk about claustrophobia. They didnt add the extra day on as time served. So I know a little how this man feels, but the environment is a little different down here.
Sorry to be so longwinded.
Two legitimate charities would have to be set up in order to be effective and no person could be involved with both. The charities would have to exist on their own merits and genuinely help the community in some manner or another. They’d have to go through the qualification hoops and be transparent to any gov enquiries. Once qualified, any donations should in theory go to the local community and be tax deductible to the individual making the contribution.
This is all theory, incidentally. I’m merely assuming this to be the case.
The can of worms… possibly welcomed is in the gaining of qualification, and the judgements which attempt to bar contributions to certain charities.. thus exposing another double standard.
Might i suggest a charity that assists family’s who are struggling to make ends meet because of an income earning family member being in Jail?
Tumbleweed,
yes, whatyou covered was stated or implied, sorry for not being more clear…and this ties in with Mitch’s statement…
Completely legitimate charities actually helping people is the point, needy families are definitely a worthy cause, as is anybody in true need. I wasn’t suggesting anything fraudulent or whatever, but that the govt could know, as was pointed out, the money they are taking from people are going to the same thing Liberty minded people are going to be doing with it anyways =) But in a more obvious fashion.
Double objective: 1) Serve as a true & legitimate charity 2) Waste much of the courts time enforcing victimless crimes and nanny laws.
Good feedback guys.
Eli Rivera commits perjury and is free as a bird, Sam stands up for the law and is a jail bird. to the judge: Way to show that justice is blind.
Another aspect to consider… there may be some local charities which are well deserving but which don’t receive many breaks or contributions. To be able to direct your monies there while starting a fundraising campaign online to reimburse liberty activists who’ve encountered fines they can’t pay (not a qualified charitable organisation.. just pure donation) might also be the ticket… should qualifying as a pair of twin local charities be taken off the table for liberty activism.
I’d be willing to donate from time to time.. Nothing major.. 5, 10, 15 bucks in order to help activists who are forced between the 3 choices and want to contribute to a charity instead. It’s a defacto contribution which feeds the activists which feeds the charities. Everyone gets something out of it, and Keene gets the most. There would be a number of locals who believe that Free Staters only take from their community and behave like nuisances. This would be a great way to give back to the community and show them you’re all an active part of the same community.
Tumbleweed2,
Yes! Whenever a group is perceived in a negative light, such as you mentioned, it is a good idea to address those matters, even if they are somewhat distorted. Find a way to show the activists are concerned about their brothers and sisters in the community. It can only help both. This is quickly becoming a multiple party beneficial idea.
A lot of great ideas being brought up. I am really big on helping people who need a leg up. Most of the times people just need a “boost” to get back on their feet and get to a place where they can become self sufficient. Most people on welfare do not want to be but lost hope, or never quite get enough to stay afloat, they end up staying stuck. A man gas an injury or an illness that takes him out of work, a newborn comes along and money is tighter than expected, etc. I’ve been through it myself.
Nothing like this happens where I live, what a difference. I’m impressed.
Tumbleweed2,
Yes! That’s what I’m talking about!
Helping people in need get through a tough time so they can get back on their feet is one of the best ways to help, it almost always pays high dividends for all involved.
I took the idea from the statement that Russell Kanning chose community service or charity because that way he could give to a worthy local cause and the govt got none of his cash. It just seems more of a statement than letting them put their filthy hands on you, chain you up like an animal, throw you in a cage and make money off your incarceration. To each his own, some may feel the “martyrdom” of being thrown on jail would have a greater impact on public opinion but as a planned strategy I think this type of system really is the way to go. There’s something so demoralizing about being under their power and locked up.
For anybody who had never been subjected to the concrete dungeons, those guards are power trippers that use sadistic and cruel behavior for the most part. Hopefully Keene’s C/Os are a bit more human than the ones in the south western states.
Mach Schnell! Kom ze here!
You’re the man, Nick.
Sorry for the redundancy, it was telling me the first post couldn’t go through so I had to try and remember what I had said the best I could. Friggin computers.
Piss poor decision by Sam, the judge gave him options, the same options he asked for in his Oct court date. As usaul Sam decides to piss away tax payers money, instead of making a donation. Enjoy your 6 days, you got what you deserved, another pathetic stunt.
Shush, nuffbag.
They’ve already stolen it — it’s not taxpayer money anymore, it’s state/city money. It’s not like the money would be going back to taxpayers if Sam had donated — it’d just mean more money for these corrupt thugs.
I would say 300.00 worth of food for the local soup kitchen, is better than 6 days in jail, get my point.
Tumbleweed2 Do not tell me what to do.
I think if it were me, I might set up a regular $50 per month donation to the community kitchen — it’s a good cause anyway. If fined, $300, for example, I could simply pay it in a lump sum, and then withhold my regular donation for six months.
I don’t think it’d be wrong to choose to pay the CK, but I also can’t fault him for his decision to cost them as much as possible, and refuse to go along with their abuse in any way.
Sure, Piss Poor.
Just as soon as governments the world over stop leveling gratuitous “income taxes” under threat of violence at their citizens in order wage unjust wars and manipulate the free market… THEN I’ll stop telling you where to go or where to leap from. Until then, you should shush with the whole “wasting taxpayers money” mentality.
OK, Tumbleweed2, that is the tunnel vision, closed minded response I would expect from you. You made your point, I made mine, until the next topic. Enjoy your vigil, if you go.
If I might add, it’s not just about the choice — jail or payment to CK — it’s about standing up to bullies, and refusing to allow their strong arm tactics to work.
i’m so happy about the discussion that came about in the comments section of this post. i actually found out last year that there is a anti-drug war non-profit that some courts allow people to work for to pay off their ‘community service hours’; so people who were being forced to do community service for getting busted with drugs… did that community service by protesting the drug war.
thought it was a great set-up.
Sam! You Don’t Mess with the Zohan or you spend time in jail instead of enjoying freedom and beautiful weather in Keene! Cops and courts 1; Sam 0.
Sorry, WES, you’ve been over-ruled, due to your PISS POOR math skills. The score for “keene district court” will always be ZERO!…Sam tried, so he gets .10 point( 1/10th point) just for trying. So the score is Sam: 1/10. Courts: 0. What, you think you’re a “zebra”, WES???…*grin*…
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: Please join “us” for an opening reception for the new Cheshire County House of Corrections, Tues., April 6, (Tomorrow night!…), at 5PM, with formal remarks at 6:15PM…Hey, I’ve seen this notice posted all over the place. Let’s all show up to see what “they” have done with all of “our” tax$$$…And, maybe do a little “recon”…anybody got any spare handcuff keys lying around, that you don’t need? If so, you might wanna consider donating them to the less fortunate…Whatever…
Well theKINGofKEENE… Yes, you are correct. I do see your point Guess I was thinking about Sam sitting in jail for six days and that is what I meant; that was a real shame and I felt really bad for him.
It’s all good, WES. I just feel bad that Sam has/had to do his time in the *OLD* jail in Westmoreland. The new jail is in East Wastemoreland. And, it’s new. It’s shiny. It’s clean. It’s jail. That, and Troll-sniping at “Mr. piss poor decision”, for getting into it with Tumbleweed2…Ah, you kids…
TheKingofKeene….
You seem to have quite a different personality here, are you a joker or what man?
Anyways, for everybody else, Im glad the idea sounds good, just to get the idea passed around so people are in the know.
Sam, the next time you are going to get arrested, and they stick their hands into your pockets after you get cuffed, be prepared by putting a dog turd in there. Let them reach in and get a handful of gooey doggie doo doo. To do this, you get a pint sized baggie, and place the turd in there with the top open, that way, it doesn’t really get too messy until they try and put their hands in there. Feed your dog some eggs for 3 days before you do this.
More power to you Sam! Right on! 32 months and I’ll be there to help ya! If you kids in Keene need an old guy, that is.
MURKAN MIKE: We need all the old guys we can get. These kids are sure slow learners! I like your idea of the baggie full of dog poop in the pocket. Even better, put in some contaminated “sharps”, stuck up thru corks…SHIT-n-SHARPIES! Dat’s wut I’m talkin’ ’bout!, Willis…don’t know about the “feed dog eggs for 3 days” part, tho.. …///…Well, i’m not sure what a “what man” is…i’m more of a Puzzler, or Riddler, than a joker. After all, the Player you get, the Smoker you drink. If i’m a joker, i’d guess that I’m not a very funny one. I’m not laughing now…smetimes, but not now…Sorry, i didn’t see your comment until just now, or else I’d a answered sooner…
Whoever that was up there, posting as “Bradford Hutchingson”, well, that was NOT, is NOT “Bradford Hutchingson”. How do I know? Because I am Bradford’s father, Bill Hutchinson. My son, Bradford, was killed in a car crash, in 1987, caused by a NH State Trooper/part-time Sheriff’s Deputy, and a Keene Police Officer. They were chasing my son, when, alledgedly, Bradford swerved his car at them, and they shot him. I don’t think this is at all funny. You people have gone too far. I only found out about this when I was told down at the shop, about this “website”. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Let an old man be at peace. My wife is VERY upset, VERY UPSET about this. Let it go. Let it go. He’s gone. I’m sorry.
To both Edward J. Burke, and especially Howard B. Lane, fuck-you. Fuck-you, Howard. Fuck-you, Ed. You’re history, in my book. No, you won’t be in the sequel, either. Fuck you both. You are now history. Fucking housethieves. You hurt my mother. You’re history. Get used to it. Retire while you still have that choice. And remember, fuck your court, too.
Re: “NOTBradford NOTHutchingson”
I’m sorry to hear about your loss. And, I’m sorry to hear that someone impersonated your son. Please understand that anyone can come on here and post anything under any name, so don’t think “we all” approve of this. Nobody I know here approves of impersonation — it’s happened twice before that I know of, once to Sam Dodson, and once to Fred Parsells
I hope you’ll communicate this to your wife, with my condolences, as well.
This is sort of strange. Simply type Bradford Hutchingson into google and up pops a Keene address and phone number. There are also dozens of internet links to various comments attributed to someone using this name, who has made on multiple websites. And, there does not seem to be a death certificate on file for Bradford Hutchingson. There is even a pdf with this name in a list of other names for Keene area volunteer work. Perhaps “NOTBradford NOTHutchingson” will see this and will look into this odd situation? I guess it’s possible there was his son with that name and yet a second person in Keene with the same name?
Somebody HAS been impersonating me online! I just followed “wes Sayvilles” advice above, & googled “Bradford Hutchingson”. Spent several hours reading. Either there is more than one “bradford hutchingson”, or an imposter / impersonater…whatever. Could be, just one very bored genuis, with a very active, literary imagination. Whatever. It’s interesting, but not *THAT* interesting…
