    Thanks for posting that. I never knew he had such a work.

    The mindset of the people who think these vehicles should be blessed for doing what they do are of the same mindset as people who would have thought that similar vehicles should be blessed in the 60s….. The vehicles of which were used to "enforce" the law. You know, words on paper, saying black people were second-class humans.

    No different than the blessing of motorcycles,fishing fleets,etc.If you believe in blessings of any sort,I would rather be pulled over by a cruiser that had been blessed.At least maybe there is someone looking over their shoulder.Good question for the officer at a stop-'Do you really think that God approves your behavior ,using His blessed auto in this manner?' —bil

    Awesome point bil.

    Most cops I knew/know are religious. I wonder why it is that the religion of statisim supersedes their faith in god. Would god really approve of putting human beings (who haven't harmed anyone else) in cages?

    I'm sure they find some mental gymnastic way to justify it.

    Hitler sure did.

    They are exactly the same thing. A celestial dictator (God) and a worldly dictator (the state).

    Hmmm… I would say maybe this is a good thing. Stupid but good. Which god is honoring the blessing? Jesus, Allah, Zeus maybe?

    Putting that good mojo out there might somehow cause cops to stick to only good things like busting rapists instead of marijuana users. But I figure this will most likely give police more of the same old idea that they are justified by the powers that be in whatever they do.

    Except that God is God, and the state is a bunch of people, big. If God exists, we're all on his property, after all ;) . Nancy Peloci, by contrast, does not own my front yard, much as she may act like it.

    Lol, yep.

    You can't use the money they took from you in the first place to send your own kid to a religious school, but by golly you'll be paying for their chaplain to bless their vehicles.
