“Free Keene” UPOC Group

Want to easily stay in touch with other individuals who believe in a peaceful evolution into a society where violence isn’t used to solve peaceful problems?

Have a cell phone that is able to send and receive text messages?

Join the Free Keene UPOC group.  It is like an internet chat room…  but one that is connected to your phone through text messaging.  If you don’t have unlimited text messages, or even a cell phone, not to worry: you can read/send messages through the website.

This is sort of like the Keene 411 system…  but easier to use/set-up.  It is also private…  so the general public cannot view the discussion.

(Membership in the group is restricted to verified contributors/participants with the Free Keene blog and forum.  After you click “Ask To Join” please PM me on the forum so I know who I am verifying!)

    Although I am happy for technology that helps speed up communications such as twitter and porc411, I have some reservations about this. The EFF says, “Avoid SMS Text Messages If You Can” ( https://ssd.eff.org/wire/protect/sms ), ( https://ssd.eff.org/3rdparties/protect/sms ).

    Unless I am speaking to someone in private face-to-face, I always assume someone else can intercept what I’m saying.

    I understand. The EFF merely points out, through their legal understanding of case law in this country that text messaging is the easiest form of communication for the government to intercept and face-to-face the most protected.

    ME? I always assume that “THEY” ARE indeed listening / watching / intercepting EVERYTHING that I say & do. No, not really “paranoid”. Keeps me on the FREE side of SAFE, is how I look at it…Either “they” don’t know, which means “they” don’t care (good), or they DO know, and aren’t gonna act (almost good). Or, “they” do know, & will act. C’est la vie. Good-bye America, so long, it was good to know you. (Think about it. If there are even 10 or 20 million Americans who are freedom loving activists, who many of “them” are needed to watch US???…By sheer numbers, “they” have already lost, because they can’t win. Look at what’s happening in Arizona, now, with the immigration / illegals stuff – RIOTS & MASS ARRESTS in the streets. All because the FEDS didn’t do their jobs, and the “State” stepped up- FINALLY. No, not “race”, RIGHTS & RULE of LAW. That’s all.That’s enough 4 now….
