If you like the production, Annie then I do feel that at the very least, a part of a bridge has been built.

I wish I knew of all who put the work together, as it’s genius in it’s humor.

  7. holy_canole on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 2:34 am

    Chaz,

I think it’s safe to say that most people are sick of hearing about this.
I know I have spent the better part of my waking hours for the last 7 days talking about it.

  8. Fourdoorchevelle on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 2:47 am

  14. perfect on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 7:50 am

One of the best videos of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Ian on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 7:51 am

funny stuff! Since reading about this whole debacle it reminds me of one of my favorite movie quotes… “Its seems to me that what we have here is a series of victemless crimes”… “what about the toe Walter?”… “FUCK THE TOE!!” I am sure someone here knows the movie.

  16. KEENENATIVE on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 8:31 am

“FREE KEENE from FREE KEENE from the FREE KEENE from the FREE KEENE STIGMA STIGMA!”…DOESLESS< freedom, which, as always, is just another TALKING HEAD, who has STOPPED MAKING SENSE!…Ah, life during wartime! (Yes, fools, I LOL'd, too!…great job!) But seriously, I sure hope James has a sense of humor. What next? A "FreeKeene Free Zone" sign on a certain downtown coffee shop???…Maybe we should just give in to the inevitable, and embrace the nonsense…

  17. Sam Dodson on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 10:04 am

I haven’t laughed that hard in a long long time. That was fantastic.

  18. B on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 10:05 am

Would that be from the movie where the protagonist is called “the Dude”?

  19. Ian on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 10:39 am

    B,
Correct! The Big Lebowski… One of my all time favorite movies. If you are in the area you just won a $10.00 gift certificate to our bookshop. I suppose even if you are not you could still get it and order from our website but would be responsible for shipping. Another great line from it directly from the dudes mouth “This aggression will not stand, man”
    Ian
P.S. sorry for the minor thread hijack

  20. Ron on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 12:10 pm

  23. Luthor on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 2:29 pm

That’s pretty good. Just wait ’til the C.R.A.P. Video comes out

  24. M_Freeman on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 2:46 pm

it would be sooo funny if a hundred keeniacs dressed as the dude , encircled the jail fired up a joint and started chanting, “this aggression will not stand, man” bet that would go viral call it dude protests the aggression. ha ha you guys are good.

  25. rensorg on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 3:29 pm

Wow, so original. Did you use Photoshop or something, because it looks SO real? Never seen that done before. Isn’t ridicule a form of flattery? If cupguy wasn’t right, I don’t think you folks would be going so far out of your way to put him down. Me thinks thou dost protest too much.

  26. david on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 3:33 pm

    WOW
and i just thought it was a stupid cup

  27. Lpviper on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 3:38 pm

Cupguy is a statist mirror of civil disobedience tactics used by anti-state people.

People like cupguy need to be interviewed and shown the gun in the room on the spot.

It is unfortunate that that didn’t happen, but sometimes in the moment the wrong thing happens.

I know FreeKeeners and other liberty teachers will learn from this mess and confront people like cupguy with love, facts, and tough questions in the future.

  28. Ian Freeman on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 3:40 pm

    rensorg,

This is clearly a parody of the entire situation, including both men, Sam and James.

  29. rensorg on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 3:44 pm

Really? Seems much more aimed at James than Sam. If you people are liberty teachers, then you are right, school sucks. Or, I mean, schoolsucksproject.org. Don’t forget to confront people with love while you are showing them the gun in the room. It’s amazing just how much sense you make.

  30. Paul on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 3:52 pm

Really? Seems much more aimed at James than Sam.

I’d say it’s poking a bit of fun at Sam for not being willing to write the cup, as well as James for being so insistent on getting the cup.

And mostly, making fun of the whole silly overblown situation.

C\’mon man, can\’t we just laugh a little ;) . Everything doesn\’t have to be a war of attrition.

  31. Lpviper on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 5:04 pm

Rensorg, the liberty activists aren’t the ones holding the gun. ‘The gun in the room’ is a euphemism used to describe the process of showing people the violence that lays at the root of all government actions.

Sorry I didn’t make that more clear

  32. Rensorg on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 9:39 pm

So, do you have an euphemism for the violence that lays at the hands of some ‘liberty activists’?

  33. Paul on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 9:48 pm

Nobody endorses aggressive violence here Rensorg, that’s exactly the point in fact.

Most people do not tolerate or support aggressively violent behavior, except when it comes to the behavior of the men and women calling themselves “government”. That exception needs to end.

  34. Gabe on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 11:26 pm

    Very cute.

Can someone tell me what the music was that was playing? It’s familiar, but I can’t place it.

  35. Lpviper on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 2:46 am

I sure love all the wiseass responses I get from forums all over the country.

There is no euphemism for direct violence, because it is not shrouded under layers of legitimacy like it is with modern government.

Liberty activists are not whipping people ‘for their own good’ or caging people for growing or holding a plant or other such harmless activity.

  36. Luthor on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 9:27 am

Rensorg: when have I ever used violence against another individual?
