On Saturday, Jack Kimball (who, according to the Union Leader, is “a founding father of the NH Tea Party Coalition”) was elected as Republican party chairman, replacing former governor John Sununu.

So who is this guy? Fortunately, during his bid for governor he was interviewed on Capitol Access, so we can learn more:

In response, the New Hampshire Democratic Party says, “It’s official! The New Hampshire GOP has been taken down by the radical extremists of their party.”

In the second video from this morning, Ademo speaks to “the court” during a “right of alocution” and is taken away to a cage for 60 days. Following that, local videographer and FK blogger Meg demands the police and bailiffs keep the peace and release the kidnapped Ademo:

Michele and I captured video of Pete’s arraignment and Ademo’s arrest and then the following “Right of alocution” hearing where Adam is sentenced to 60 days in jail for speaking. (Please stay tuned to Free Keene. The second video is forthcoming but YouTube is taking HOURS to process it, so I decided to just post the first one in this post.

This morning we had a video arraignment in Keene District Court for Pete Eyre, arrested yesterday for peacefully wearing a hat. We started the day at 8am and it wasn’t until around noon that Pete’s arraignment occurred. We spent the first hour from eight until nine passing out Don’t Plead Guilty flyers.

The video was set up in a way so that Pete could not see supporters in the audience. Earlier, people had asked a bailiff if Pete would be able to hear us and he paused, before informing us that he would, but that we should stay quiet. Michele Seven, filming the video and judge as an independent source, asked if she could say hi to Pete before the judge walked in, but was denied that privilege by the bailiff. Read more

A man affiliated with the libertarian Free Keene movement is being held without bail because he refused to give his name after being arrested in Keene District Court Monday, according to Keene police.

The man was arrested after he refused to take off his hat in the courtroom and argued with a bailiff who asked him to leave court, according to Keene police Lt. Darryl W. Madden.

He faces charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and is being held at the Cheshire County jail without bail until he identifies himself, Madden said. Read more
