WMUR Reports on “Thanks but no Tanks”!

WMUR reports on the “Thanks but no Tanks” anti-BEARCAT movement here in Keene. Unfortunately, they get the information wrong that it’s “free staters” who are the opposition to this monstrosity. In their video you can see local, longtime NH inhabitant David Crawford singing with us “flatlanders”. I never once used the terms “free state” or “free stater” with the reporter, and told her I was a blogger at Free Keene, yet FK did not get a mention and they titled me “Free State Blogger”. Here is the report as aired on tonight’s newscast:

    What do you expect when you clowns keep using last names like "Freeman" or "Voluntaryist"…? Of COURSE they are going to think/know you are "freestaters"….whatever that IS anymore. LOL.

    As usual, Ian's SAME OLD SCRIPT comes falling out of his mouth….no one is buying it anymore Ian, it's like a steak you keep frying and frying and frying forever – it just isn't edible any longer.

    We're scrubbing the KAC break-down with the Public Safety Vehicle…

    When the largest, most influential newspaper in NH,

    either doesn't know, – or doesn't care –

    about the difference between "FreeKeene" & "FreeState",

    you KNOW you guys have image problems…

    Most of NH either doesn't know, or doesn't care, about

    either "FreeKeene", or the FSP…

    Too bad.

    Wht was the reaction of the councilor's to the singing at their homes? If one occupies another's property uninvited isn't that trespassing?

    My understanding from the report I got is that the choir was nice and the recipients of the singing responded in kind..

    The folks in the choir are always nice and friendly …I don't think the Keene folks ran them off with a shot gun : they didn't go to "enslave's" house" lol
