More Robin Hood Supporters!

Unfortunately, from my experience as a Air Force retiree and a 100% disabled vet, we can’t get the VA or Congress to help, not only correct the factors leading to the high suicide rate, but to follow-up and provide the continuing support the vets need when rentering the civilian life. The only ones who understand what we feel is the other vets who have walked in our shoes.

So many vets come home to empty houses, as their spouses have decided to move on with someone else while the vet served to protect and support the country. Then the former spouse goes to court and gets a divorce decree that orders the vet to give her more than she is legally entitled to. Many courts strip the veterans of all of their money, So what do they have to live for…No family…No money…No where to live! Many take the final step and decide it’s not worth living and use the last bullet to end it, just as they were trained by the military. Keep the enemy from learning anything from you, END IT!
There are many veteran’s advocacy groups that have been asking our Congressmen to help by reenforcing the laws that protect the disability money the disaled veterans get, but the say that the laws already keep the courts from unlawflly taking their disability money, the law that applies is 38 United States Code 5301, but the courts keep ignoring the same law saying it doesn’t apply to state courts, which is a lie as federal law ALWAYS supersedes state law. So the vet goes to the VA ad asks for help, but the VA refuses to act saying they won’t get involved because it is a family matter. But the law makes the Secretary of the VA responsible for it’s enforcement.
So let’s see: The vet suffers from disabilities received while serving their country…Their family deserted them while they were serving thei country…Their legislators abandoned them, refusng to help with issues created by inuries incurred while serving their country…The VA refuses to enforce the laws they are responsible for protecting the vets.
THE VETS GET NO HELP AND MANY FEEL THE LAST BULLET IS THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN HELPTHEMSELVES. Please help put an end to this and contact your legislator and ask them to work with Operation Firing for Effect to correct this injustice! Find out mre at OFFE.ORG.

  Interesting. Will those veterans be digging into their pockets to make restitution to the innocents that they murdered, all over the world?
  
  Sorry, but I’m not too worried about them coming home to an empty house, when others have come home to bombed-out houses with the corpses of their children inside them.

  I have more respect for a hired murderer who takes his own life in repentance for his crimes than one who compounds the damage he caused to humanity by further damaging the taxpayers.
