Rich Paul writes from jail

Rich has sent in a blog post for Mail-to-Jail to publish:

Hello, everybody!

I have now responded personally to each piece of mail that I have received since I’ve been back in jail. Thanks to all who wrote to me! Y’all are my inspiration!

Thanks, also, to all those who have promoted and/or donated to my fundraising page at”http://gofundme.com/gorichpaul“. All good things require resources, and the fight for freedom is no exception.

And let me give a special shout out to Derrick J, Ian Freeman, and Jay Denonville for all their help in facilitating communications and fundraising for me. I would be helpless in here if not for your eyes, ears, and hands!

Keene activists inspire STOP FREE KEENE!!! members to take better care of their community

It seems the work of local freedom activists is having a larger positive effect than intended. For example, as a result of STOP FREE KEENE!!!‘s continuing War on Chalk, Keene’s Central Square is probably being maintained in a cleaner overall state then it ever has. The Monadnock Community Coalition/STOP FREE KEENE!!! group is putting together an event to repaint the Gazebo downtown within the next couple of weeks. On their recent radio interview, it was suggested to SFK!!! by a caller that they should also pay attention to the unkept condition of the skate park off of Gilbo Avenue. A SFK!!! member even had the idea of trying to donate more money than “we” do to the Hundred Nights Shelter!

I am glad activism is helping people to realize the community sometimes need more assistance than the government is providing. They are finding free market solutions to these problems, and I hope they come up with even greater ideas in the near future.

Rep. Cynthia Chase belongs to secretive organization to take down Free Staters

From the New Hampshire Freedom blog:

Representative Chase is at it again. She admitted that there is a secret project by Granite State Progress, which itself is funded by billionaire George Soros. She said the project is called OUR State Project and the members meet at the Granite State Progress office on the third Thursday of the month. She said the Project is non-partisan so presumably, as long as you care about the future of New Hampshire and are non-violent, all of you readers are welcome at the meetings at 4 Park Street, Suite 300 in Concord, NH. Read more about the OUR State Project and it’s goals below, in Rep. Chase’s own words.

FK haters create anti-FSP group with homicidal motif

This is no April Fools joke. It looks like the STOP FREE KEENE!!! crowd have created another gem called Kill the Quill – Stop The Free State Project in NH. The group’s description is: “For the citizens of the State of NH to stop the infiltration of the radical movement named: The Free State Project”.

Interesting logo they have:

kill

Do current group members Brandie Roof (the administrator of the group, also known by her current pseudonym “Brandie Lovesherfamily”), Andrea Whitcomb, Joshua Erickson, Dan French, Todd Nolan, Tammy Adams, and Jon Cole really support the murder of Free State Project participants? Is killing so funny to them that they joke about using the word so nonchalantly:

joke

How much more ridiculous will the haters make themselves look?

Day after day, I can feel the return of the rage and pain which were my constant companions until I started treating my depression with medical marijuana. For the first time in years, I truly felt the desire to die, the utter despair of full force depression. I thought that I was past it… I thought that the fight would be enough to foster my desire to live. I was wrong.

The paradox of my life is that the only anti-depressant which makes it bearable to be me is forbidden to me by law… If I make my life worth living by taking my medicine, the state will take my life from me, by imprisoning me, and will thereby deprive me of my medicine. That is what has happened to me now. I paid for my medicine by helping others get it.. and now the State in its infinite wisdom and compassion, has decided to make it impossible for me to get it.

If they insist on ruining our lives, why doesn’t the State just go whole hog and end them? Is one more recalcitrant slave worth what it costs to keep me locked up? I do not set my life at a pin’s fee… why should they?

Normally, when I had this kind of thought, I kept it to myself. I never wanted to risk incarceration by telling the truth. I guess that now, being incarcerated, I have nothing left to lose. If only the truth really had to power to set us free!

For those who suggest artificial, big pharma style anti-depressants, I suggest that you look into the recent mass shootings… every single one of them was carried out by a person on psych meds. No thanks, if I go out, I’ll do it alone. And having see one of my best friends die from Prozac, I suffer no illusions that it can’t happen to me. Prozac kills. Pot does not. Big Pharma must make a lot of politicians filthy rich to keep their poison legal while stealing the lives of those who choose natural alternatives.

The last irony I will point out is the irony of being in a state whose motto is “Live Free or Die”, but ill allow me neither option.
