An update on Ademo Freeman’s arrest and the Keene Courts, Ron Paul to introduce a bill that would allow TSA officials to be charged with sexual assault for groping passengers, CA cops get $5,600 for washing their motorcycles, and the Feds want ISPs to keep internet history for 18 months just in case they want to look at it.
Free Minds TV reports on Ademo’s arrest.
Keene man arrested and faces years in jail for talking to a judge outside of the court room, and an update on the girl who was arrested for filming police from her own yard; this is actually good news.
I know that a lot of the readers of this blog prefer out of the system activism, but there are certain bills that even some of the most diehard voluntaryists can get behind. I believe HB 146 is such a bill. The jury nullification bill has already passed the NH House, but it is having some trouble in the Senate. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 2-2 on the bill as Inexpedient to Legislate, but that doesn’t mean the bill is dead. The full Senate is scheduled to vote on the bill later this week.
If this bill passes and is signed into law it would mean all the activism being done outside of court houses meant to inform potential jury members of their right to nullify a law would be done inside every court room where a jury is present. “In all court proceedings the court shall instruct the jury of its right to judge the facts and the application of the law in relationship to the facts in controversy.”
If you live in NH, please consider contacting the Senator that is supposed to represent you, or if you have the time, all 24 of them. A list of their contact information can be found here. The NH Liberty Alliance has pointed out that this is part of the official NH GOP platform, so if the Senator you are contacting was elected as a republican it might be helpful to remind them of this.

A frustrated and angry UK virgin is being flown to Amsterdam to hire a prostitute on the tax payers’ dime, raw milk raids increase, mailing tobacco through the US mail just got harder and more expensive, and mattress police; yes they really do exist and yes they really are cracking down on people who remove the ‘do not remove’ tags.
All able bodied Americans ages 18 to 42 may have to report to Obama for 2 years of forced labor, NY government using Google Earth to find illegal swimming pools, the federal government requiring colleges to stop illegal file sharing, and a man wrongfully convicted of rape 27 years ago will be held in jail for an extra day so he doesn’t “freak out.”
Oregon suing a Canadian mother for 2 years of foster care after they wrongfully took custody of him, Obama granting the FBI spying power George W Bush only dreamed about, the feds are poised to make penalties for pot brownies twice as harsh as uncooked marijuana, and CA tells a man in a wheel chair his medical marijuana shop is not handicap accessible even though it works fine for him.
Ohio city forces people who want to contest red light camera tickets to pay a $95 court fee, which happens to be the same amount as the fine, police accidentally taser a UK man in the groin, a deaf man wrongfully convicted of rape wants to be let out of prison, and the Congressional Christmas tree has been chosen but may require secret service protection so vandals won’t ruin it.
A bill requiring all sales of $600 or more be tracked with a 1099 bill was rolled into the Health Care Bill, millions of stimulus dollars used to make signs touting the Obama stimulus, moonshine regaining popularity in the US, and an old man looking for better health gets a can of health pet senior from his local food bank.

You’ve gotta give the Union Leader credit for their headline.
UPDATE: The Union Leader has re-written parts of the article, presumably after Sam gave them a call. The new article is posted here. I will leave the old one up so people can see the differences.

KEENE – Being bare breasted on the streets of Keene may not be illegal, but breast painting, drinking in public, blocking police cars and harassing officers is.
At least seven people were arrested Sunday shortly after 6 p.m. when bystanders reported people were drinking and taking off their clothes in Central Square in downtown Keene.
Keene Police Lt. Darryl Madden said the people in the park were not arrested for nakedness, which is not illegal in Keene.
“One woman was toples and she was getting her breasts painted by another woman,” he said. “There’s no law against being naked, but you can’t be lewd or lascivious. And one person groping someone’s breasts and saying lewd things certainly qualifies.”
