The Keene Sentinel has been busy covering liberty activists these past few days. Â Here’s a quick rundown:
- Their coverage of the city committee vote to investigate a possible ordinance banning chalk from downtown Keene, featuring quotes from Free Keene blogger Derrick J Freeman.
- They also reported on the Keene tax assessors’ 3-0 denial of the Shire Free Church’s application for tax exemption.  One of the assessors said, in essence, that activists can’t be part of a church.  The Shire Free Church: Monadnock board is considering its options for appeal, as our right to freedom of religion has clearly been violated.
- Finally, Joe Mirzoeff’s letter to the editor opposing the chalking ordinance was published Thursday.
