Ideas have consequences.
Thank you.
This article is complete garbage. Our laws are there to protect people. They were conceived by those we elect to office. This living in the 1800’s is not going to work. There are over 300 million people in the USA who all have different ideas regarding how society should be. How many of those people have the same idea? very very few.
Sorry Pete, but your ideas are pure fantasy and nothing more.
Jumping Jacks My, my Jacks. There’s quite a lot of conflicting statements floating about that poorly thought little lecture of yours, now isn’t there? I wonder why you’ve never stopped to think that since there are hundreds of millions of people with different ideas on how to organize their society, perhaps it would best serve these people to keep their forms of government decentralized and separate from each other? Have you failed to notice that it’s not been a particularly successful idea to be forcing everyone to organize under one large system? Maybe it’s time to consider the idea of going our separate ways? It’s not like it’s never been done before,… Read more »
Drac Vermell Jumping Jacks The law has been particularly successful. You’re alive aren’t you? If someone breaks into you’re home you would expect that person to be arrested, tried, and convicted. If this were to happen in a society without laws what do you really think is going to happen? How are you going enforce anything? A society without laws would fall into utter chaos.
I would expect you don’t understand this subject. I also know you don’t support this type of society. Your ranting statements prove that.
Jumping Jacks Drac Vermell
If the elements of a crime can be based on disobedience to an arbitrary law, (victimless crime) rather than on restituting a real victim who has been harmed, you’re, ALREADY in a state of chaos.
If someone breaks into your home and they have a badge, the first thing I’d do is hide my dog so they don’t shoot poor old Rover.
Jumping Jacks Drac Vermell You’re reliance on such commonplace platitudes always gives me a chuckle, Jacks. I’m surprised that you seem unaware of the fact that there are already basic rules in society regarding incursions on another’s private property. Why do you think that these moral abstractions will suddenly vanish in the absence of a centralized state? But since you’ve brought it up perhaps we should test your own understanding of the nature of the state, eh Jacks? For instance, I’ll wager that you’ve already broken a law this morning and don’t even know it. Perhaps you should call the police and have them investigate your person and belongings… Read more »
Ian Freeman is a failure at this, though he’s a pro and proposing it and advocating for it; regarding THAT he second to none at lol
aka a liar 🙂
WEEDA CLAUS Jumping Jacks Drac Vermell Again, the hippie movement is over. Comparing a system of Voluntaryism would never work.
Drac Vermell Jumping Jacks Do you ever say anything intelligent? I mean, none of your ramblings mean nothing and are all over the place.
Jumping Jacks WEEDA CLAUS Drac Vermell Why is that, Jacks? Because certain people can’t be trusted to safely enjoy their own freedom? The same could be said of the notion of granting certain people a lot of power with little oversight or accountability, now can it Jacks? The ideas you support concerning the merits of big government have left a bad taste in people’s mouths. That’s why there’s a populist president in the White House this time around and that’s why the left is trying to burn it all to the ground. Isn’t that evidence enough for you that perhaps it would be best… Read more »
Jumping Jacks Drac Vermell Gracious me Jacks, so many Jacksisms from you this morning! You even managed to depart the conversation with a double negative! My goodness, you must really be tired from all those pilates classes I hear you teach!
