From FSP early mover Mike Ruff in Manchester:
To all my friends and acquaintances who are struggling for Freedom elsewhere, and see little progress:
As many of you may be aware, I have long since become disillusioned with the political process, and prefer to do my pro-Freedom activism in the social and economic realm. That being said, and while I encourage people to do the same, I don’t denigrate the efforts of those principled activists who remain in the political front of the battle–I have said for years that the correct strategy for winning this fight is to push on multiple fronts simultaneously. Our opponents are unskilled and incompetent (which is why they resort to Gooferment for their employment), and are severely unbalanced when attempting to focus on more than one line of attack. The number of liberty-oriented people who moved here as part of the Free State Project and hold political office as state reps tripled from four to twelve yesterday! I was pretty disillusioned with politics when I moved here to NH, but I have to say it seems pretty clear that it really is a viable option here in NH, unlike most everywhere else. Free State Project participants have been elected as both Republicans and Democrats while the Libertarian party continues to fail, with its senate and governor candidates failing to get the 4% they need to be a major party. This doesn’t include the other folks that won their election, who love liberty and are not FSP movers. Word is over 100 NH Liberty Alliance-endorsed candidates were elected yesterday in NH.
Unfortunately, zero FSP participants were elected in Cheshire county. Perhaps you’d like to help change that in the future? Here’s a thread on the Free Keene Forum where I have posted the details regarding the Cheshire county political parties and where and when they meet.
Congrats to all those FSP movers who won yesterday, may they focus their legislative efforts at advancing liberty!

Recently, Free Keene blogger JJ discovered that Vendetta is now allowing all ages before 9pm, which was the original reason Social Sundays moved out of Vendetta. Several weeks ago, it was announced that a group of activists would be holding another Social Sundays at Vendetta. Activists quickly gravitated to Vendetta, which was home to Social Sundays for a long time, and has an excellent beer selection and now offers Sushi and other Asian fare. Vendetta is also conveniently located next door to Pedraza’s for those who prefer Mexican for dinner!
So, join your fellow liberty lovers every Sunday starting at 5pm at Vendetta at 43 Central Square. Here’s the forum thread about the change.

Congratulations to Concord activists for launching the new FreeConcord.org! As announced on the Free Keene Forum, the first published piece is on Concord PD’s continuing abuse of the wiretapping statute. In the media section, there is a link to a .pdf you can print out which makes convenient cards with the relevant section of RSA 570-A on it showing that it’s not a felony to record the blue light gang. If anyone from the greater-Concord area would like to help out, e-mail freeconcord@live.com
