Welcome to our newest blogger, Brandon. He’ll be heading up the Free Keene food drives and who knows what into the future. Look for his first post here soon. Meantime, here’s his bio from the Bloggers page:
Brandon moved to Keene in June of 2009 from the Detroit, MI area. He had been a believer in small government philosophy before coming to the realization that only through a voluntary society can the rights and liberties of individuals be preserved. After learning of the Free State Project in 2004 Brandon felt that the FSP would provide the best opportunity to reclaim those liberties.
Liberty activists (including Dave Ridley) called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss stealing of an activists’ camera by an EMT, HIPAA, ClimateGate, voting with dollars, so-called representation, homeless voting, and Nick Ryder.
Please join us for our weekly chat and calling sessions on Saturday mornings from 11a-12p in the Free Keene Chat room. If you’re online, you can listen to Talkback streamed live via the Liberty Radio Network and if you’re in the Keene area you can tune in to WKBK 1290 AM or 104.1 FM. The Talkback discussion thread is here on the Free Keene Forum.
Brad Jardis dared speak out about ending prohibition and was targeted by the good-old-boys in the Epping police department for termination. Tonight at the termination hearing he was kept on as a police officer, pending a “psychological evaluation”. Will they determine that believing in liberty is crazy and fire him later? Time will tell. For now, Jardis is still a NH law enforcement officer. Plus, he’s a regular participant of the Free Keene Forum. Here’s his thread about this situation.
Dave Ridley interviews Brad moments after the well-attended hearing in Epping tonight:
Liberty activists called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss the war, health care, taxes, incentives, big government, the jail, freedom to travel, apathy, and voluntary funding. If you listen carefully during the first call from Nick of Free Minds TV, you can hear Cynthia whisper, “Free Stater”. Little does she know that Nick is a New Hampshire native. Oops!
