Poll after poll shows that most Americans think government is too big. They want to shrink the size of government.

Our best shot at advancing small government is to run campaigns – ballot initiatives and candidates for office – that feature bold, small government proposals. Those proposals must actually shrink Big Government while appealing to the voters who want small government.

Marijuana Decriminalization Bill!

PotOne of Keene’s representatives has introduced some very pro-Liberty legislation: the decriminalization of marijuana. There will be a hearing on Wed 1/17 at 10:30am in the Criminal Justice and Public Safety committee, Room 204, Legislative Office Building. Some of us from Free Keene will be there to testify in favor of it. Details here in the forum.

National Issues Allowed?

QuestionEric just posted about the minimum wage, but in an article solely about Washington DC. We need to decide on whether non-Keene related posts belong here.

On one hand, I don’t want the blog to be devoid of content, but on the other hand this blog is intended to highlight issues and solutions to government coercion – in the Keene area. I can certainly see extending the coverage to NH related issues, but I’m concerned about losing focus. Please post your comments. Should national issues be off limits unless they are tied into Keene?
