Recently, Free Keene blogger JJ discovered that Vendetta is now allowing all ages before 9pm, which was the original reason Social Sundays moved out of Vendetta. Several weeks ago, it was announced that a group of activists would be holding another Social Sundays at Vendetta. Activists quickly gravitated to Vendetta, which was home to Social Sundays for a long time, and has an excellent beer selection and now offers Sushi and other Asian fare. Vendetta is also conveniently located next door to Pedraza’s for those who prefer Mexican for dinner!
So, join your fellow liberty lovers every Sunday starting at 5pm at Vendetta at 43 Central Square. Here’s the forum thread about the change.

Congratulations to Concord activists for launching the new FreeConcord.org! As announced on the Free Keene Forum, the first published piece is on Concord PD’s continuing abuse of the wiretapping statute. In the media section, there is a link to a .pdf you can print out which makes convenient cards with the relevant section of RSA 570-A on it showing that it’s not a felony to record the blue light gang. Just out of curiosity, I decided to check the Alexa ratings for FreeKeene.com and KeeneSentinel.com, and what do you know, the nearly four-year-old Free Keene is now beating the over 100-year-old Keene Sentinel!
Here are the current rankings. Lower numbers are better:
Free Keene’s US rating: 60,312
The Sentinel’s US rating: 66,193
Free Keene’s World rating: 234,327
The Sentinel’s World rating: 254,447

It wasn’t long ago that Free Keene originated the release of the Epub and Kindle versions of Dr. Mary Ruwart’s excellent book, “Healing Our World”. Now we have even bigger news that will help spread her awesome book as far as possible, now into ears instead of just eyes – the ’90s edition of “Healing Our World” is now available in audio form thanks to Dr. Ruwart and S. Heika reports that the Hundred Nights Shelter is having a yard sale Saturday, October 2nd from 8-2 on Emerald Street in the old City Tire lot across from the Center at Keene. They do not receive any government funding and rely solely on donations. The donations have been getting scarce as of late. So the yard sale is a fundraiser to help with these costs. I encourage everyone to please take a few minutes and look through your things for anything that may be donated to sell in the yard sale. The only things not accepted at this time are clothing and large pieces of furniture. Books, dvds, videos, video games, kitchenware, board games, toys, etc would be great! Please send Heika an email at h_courser at yahoo.com or post to the forum thread if you have anything you are willing to part with to help this shelter. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule to pick things up from you throughout the week. Also, on Saturday, I will have a separate table to accept sleeping bags, tents, tarps, winter jackets, and any cash donations. So stop on by, donate items, buy something, or give the change in your pocket! Everything is greatly appreciated!
