Liberty-minded people called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss global climate change, Sam’s KPD late night visit, Sam and Meg being attacked by a court security bureaucrat, protecting and serving the state, open carry, and what the FSP is. Also, a local statist calls in to attack liberty activists for open-carrying, calling them “mentally insane” (of course, in the real world, not all activists open-carry) and says his kids are afraid to walk downtown. Plus, Cynthia makes blanket statements about all liberty activists in Keene, because they are all the same, of course!

Do you love liberty and live, work in, visit, or plan to move to the Keene area? If so, it would be great for you to get involved with this project each week. Here’s how you can help:
Please join us for our weekly chat and calling sessions on Saturday mornings from 9a-12p in the Liberty Radio Network Chat room. If you’re online, you can listen to Talkback streamed live via the Liberty Radio Network and if you’re in the Keene area you can tune in to WKBK 1290 AM or 104.1 FM. The Talkback discussion thread is here on the Free Keene Forum.

Story here.
“Rivera alleged Henion initially asked her grandfather for money to support her drug habit. Brigham wouldn’t give her the money and that is when she allegedly hatched the scheme with Dawson, Laronge, and possibly a few other people, Rivera said.”
You know… I was able to write my blog and come to this conclusion before Eli was in the newspaper admitting these things.
I know Eli knows that drug prohibition is causing these problems. Lets see if he and his co-workers have the courage to do something about it and actually make the community of Keene safer.
This would require advocating change.

Four local women decided to go topless for this week’s Topless Tuesday, and there has been much outrage. It’s sad how intolerant people are of the human body and how repressed they are, still, by the puritanical past of this country. It’s also sad, how inconsistent they are – if men can go topless, why not women? If you have a problem with female toplessness, it’s all in your head. Humans are beautiful creatures, and should not be ashamed of themselves. This situation continues to develop, as Topless Tuesdays is intended to continue all summer long thanks to the heroic ladies who are standing up for equality! If you are offended by this event, you need to look inside yourself for the problem. This is about freedom and equality.
UPDATE: The picture in this post was taken by an anonymous photographer who sent us this censored version. I’m attempting to get the uncensored original, but I found it interesting the photographer censored ALL the nipples, including the males. Finally, in case you didn’t google it, Mastrophobia is fear of breasts.
Here’s the Sentinel story in full, but please click to read it on their site until they put it behind the paywall. As usual, the comments section is full of vitriol, ignorance, intolerance, and anger. Let them know how YOU feel. Here’s the article from the Keene Sentinel’s Phil Bantz:
Douglas Foster got an eyeful during his ride home from Keene Middle School on Tuesday afternoon.
Looking through a school bus window, the 12-year-old saw topless women standing in Central Square.
“My son came home and said, ‘Mom, have you seen what’s going on downtown?’ ” said Erin Foster, a Keene resident. “He said there were women downtown who have their tops off. I actually didn’t believe him. I had to see for myself.” (more…)

Ask any liberty activist their opinion of the drug war and they will tell you what I have been focusing my Free Keene blogging around: The “Drug War” is a disaster and it is causing crime everywhere.
In this breaking article the Associated Press is reporting what many of us in the liberty movement have been yelling for years.
“Just a few years later, a young Barack Obama was one of those young users, a teenager smoking pot and trying “a little blow when you could afford it,” as he wrote in “Dreams From My Father.” When asked during his campaign if he had inhaled the pot, he replied: “That was the point.”
So why persist with costly programs that don’t work?”
Who knows. Someone ask the NH Police Chief’s Association which shows up to shoot down every effort activists make here in New Hampshire to get rid of this horrible mess.

“Peter Brigham said he had a lot of time to think with his nose pressed to his carpet, arms and legs duct taped together, watching two men rifle through his belongings Tuesday night.”
“They woke me up, and told me to lie face down on the bed, and I won’t get hurt,” Brigham recalled. “I followed instructions best I could.” The robbers, clad in black masks, were armed, one with a pistol, the other a baseball bat. The men were wearing camouflage pants and hooded sweatshirts, Brigham said.”
“”They duct taped my hands together and then my feet and then locked them together, kind of like hog-tying,” Brigham said.”
And why was this innocent man victimized?

George Donnelly has been doing FIJA outreach in Pennsylvania with activist Julian Heicklen and has recorded some amazing footage of government thugs threatening him. Today, they followed through on their threats. Video is not yet available due to the fact that no one has any idea where they have taken George. He was attacked by the uniformed gang members and taken away. The Examiner has the details.
By the way, FIJA activist Julian Heicklen will be doing an outreach in front of the federal courthouse in Concord this summer. Let’s get a nice big group of supporters out there! Keep an eye on the Free Keene Forum for details on when.
Free George Donnelly!
