Hey Monadnock students (& others) – I hope to see you at the Keene Starbucks at noon this Saturday, March 31st!
The courts have been royally screwing parents who don’t deserve it. Local abused-by-the-courts parents have decided HB 591 can help. They report this bill is critical to ensure equal parenting time for divorcing/ seperating parents absent abuse or neglect. Anyone who has experianced the current injustices of family court or others who see the need for change in current policy should be in Concord early Wednesday a.m. to show their support with signs, banners, speaking to Reps, etc.
Whether or not you can make it Wednesday, do consider calling local reps and encourage them to vote yes for HB 591 on Wednesday.
Great news from Concord via the AP:
New Hampshire lawmakers on Wednesday rejected a bill that would have made their state legislature the first one to repeal a gay marriage law, an action that the governor had promised to block.
The state House voted 211-116 to kill the measure, ending a push in the Legislature to rescind New Hampshire’s 2-year-old gay marriage law. Nevertheless, both sides are pledging to continue fighting into the fall elections. (more…)
Mark your calendar and stand in solidarity against the insane war on drugs in front of the state house in Concord on 4/20 at 4:20pm.
Here’s a facebook event for it.

If you live in New Hampshire, Senate Bill 409 will be voted on soon.
If you want to see people who use cannabis for medical reasons go to jail, do nothing.
If you want to extend compassion and legal protection to them, call your State Senator. If you live in a yellow district, urge them to pass. If you live in a green or blue district, thank them for their support. If you live in a red district, let them know why they’re getting voted out next time.
If you are a Keene resident please contact Senator Molly Kelly and thank her for supporting safe access to medical marijuana by people who suffer from horrible illnesses.
