Free Staters Given Another Reason to Leave California

According to a local CA newspaper (click for full article), two free-staters who have yet to move to NH have been arrested for wearing masks and having an anti-tax sign:

Benjamin and Russell Bartholomew were arrested Wednesday afternoon after hanging a 20-foot-long sign with an anti-tax message from an overpass on Highway 70 south of Marysville…

Charges are expected to include affixing a sign to state property and wearing masks to escape recognition while committing a public offense. The brothers are scheduled to appear May 24 in Yuba County Superior Court. Benjamin, 26, said Thursday that the sign — large black letters on pieces of white poster board roped together — was up only about five minutes before patrol cars arrived at the Erle Road overpass.

Here’s the video from the side of the road where Ben and Russell do a great job refusing to cooperate with the FIVE police aggressors, and point out the violence in the system:

Expanded and Expanding Self-Defense Rights in NH

Back in November of 2008 a Kensington, NH man was walking down the street in Portsmouth, NH around midnight when he became alarmed at two suspicious individuals following him.  Fearing for his safety, the man opened a knife, spun around, held the knife at his side, and demanded to know what the two people following him wanted.

Sounds completely justifiable, doesn’t it?

Got five minutes? Make a call for Weeda Claus!

BobFrom Copblock.org:

Last week Bob “Weeda Claus” Constantine was found “guilty” of possession of marijuana by 12 jurors at Grafton County (NH) superior court. Today Bob begins his 60-day sentence.

Let’s remind those responsible for caging Bob – a peaceful, non-violent man – that they are in the wrong. Bob was growing a plant on his property. Who is the victim? Where was the harm?

Take five-minutes today and on as many of the next 59 days as you can, to call one or both of these numbers:

Melissa Pierce – 603.787.6968 (Grafton Co. “district attorney”)
Grafton Co. Jail – 603.787.6767

Bob was victorious. Despite the 60-day jail sentence (two years of “prohibition” and $1,0o0 “fine”) he stood up for what was right. Thanks in advance for your support!

Medical Cannabis User Relates Amazing Story

Free Concord‘s Garret Ean chases down the Attorney Genital’s drug prosecutor, the cold, unfeeling Karen Echol then interviews disabled veteran Tony Woody who reveals his horrible pain and also relates an amazing experience to which close attention should be paid.

Can you imagine experiencing your actions from others’ perspective? All the hurt you caused others, you feel. All the love you engendered in others, you feel. How would that change your behavior in your life that follows? Tony knows what this means. He’s experienced it. It is this empathy that the government agents who wish to control you do not want you to discover. In my opinion it is one reason why empathogens like DMT are illegal. If people could see that we are all humans with the same feelings and that the ideas of countries and groups are there to divide us, then they would not go to war, and government would shrivel and die without its precious war.

Don’t miss what Tony has to say:

Evan Pierce, 2nd Wave Civil Disobedience Superactivist

EvanIf the first wave of liberty-lovers doing civil disobedience were people like Russell and Kat Kanning and Lauren Canario, with six heroic arrests under his belt, Evan Pierce may be the most prolific disobedient/noncooperative of the “second wave”. (New waves are necessary as each person can only take so many charges before life gets far more difficult, due to multiple convictions.) Evan’s actions are always very inspiring, as you will surely see. Evan moved to New Hampshire a few years ago from Austin, Texas and immediately jumped into the world of civil disobedience and noncooperation. This video covers his recent arrest at Grafton superior court for wearing a paper hat as well a prior arrest in Keene for smoking cannabis during Pumpkin Fest. Evan is one of the bravest activists in New Hampshire. If you love freedom, whether you are interested in civil disobedience, street theatre, media or politics, you should follow his advice in this video and move to New Hampshire!
