Robin Hooders to Protect Returning KSC Students From Parking Tickets

Robin Hood of KeeneRobin Hood of Keene recently distributed this press release:

Robin Hood of Keene believes strongly in the importance of education. Therefore, it has agreed, in solidarity with Keene State College, to welcome our future scholars back to Keene, New Hampshire by filling the parking meters on the College side of Main Street near Keene State College all day on Wednesday, January 22 2014.

As you may recall, Robin Hood of Keene collaborated with City of Keene last year to extend the Holiday Parking Week by an additional day. Just as that was the first time Robin Hood of Keene partnered with City of Keene, this will be the start of Robin Hood of Keene’s partnership with Keene State College. The partnership with City of Keene was a win-win for the people and small businesses of Keene. Robin Hood of Keene is looking forward to additional partnerships during 2014 with one overall goal in mind – saving the people from the King’s tariff.

NH House Makes History With Pro-Cannabis Legalization Vote!

Pot LeafWednesday’s vote in the New Hampshire state house was historic. According to the Marijuana Policy Project, it was the first time ever that any state legislative body has voted to legalize the plant! It’s an indicator of how much public opinion has changed on this issue – politicians can’t ignore it anymore. Many politicians in NH are listening and many have changed their minds on this issue. It’s not over, however, the bill now goes back to committee for further tweaking, then will be voted on again by the house, then if it passes again, the NH senate, and finally will reach the hypocritical governor Maggie Hassan.

Hassan has pledged to veto the bill, but the pressure is now on and will only be turning up. In fact, you can help by signing this petition at change.org to tell Hassan to step aside and let this pass. maggie_hassantransparent2a[1]Hassan’s office staff acknowledged the large number of contacts they’ve been getting by people who want to see cannabis legal and issued a pathetic statement affirming her intent to veto, for the children of course. Nevermind that Hassan actively pushes the official state vodka – something that actually *can* harm children and adults.

The house discussion and vote was somewhat confusing to newcomers observing the goings-on, but thankfully liberty-loving state rep Mike Sylvia explains the process for us as well as his critical role. This is an excellent introduction to the workings of the state house:

Here is the quick primer on how it works:

sylviaA bill is introduced and assigned to a committee (easy so far). The committee has public hearings where interested parties testify and the committee gets a full education on the topic of the bill. The committee may amend the bill if they choose to. Ultimately the committee will vote on the bill, their vote will be a recommendation to the full house when the bill is voted upon on the floor in session. (more…)

NH Governor Maggie Hassan Confronted Over Cannabis Legalization

This morning, I confronted the governor of New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan, over her pledge to veto cannabis legalization. She holds quite the hypocritical position, considering she also supports selling the hardest drug known to man, alcohol. Not only does she support the sales of liquor (as the state is the monopoly liquor seller in NH), she’s also a liquor pusher – having announced recently that the state of NH now has its own official vodka.

AKPF Revisits Black Sheep Rising Redux

A recent appearance by the crew of AKPF #1 to the Black Sheep Rising dialogue program has been reduxed down to 29 minutes to air in this week’s Aqua Keene timeslot. Check out this insightful episode where we discuss the Robin Hood saga, DPRK, and canines instilled with a fear of cats.

Amanda Billyrock’s Felony Drug Possession and DUI Charges Dropped

billyrockThe Laconia police prosecutor has dropped the DUI and drug possession charges, meaning Amanda Billyrock is now only facing class B misdemeanors. Here’s her post from her Facebook page where she announces the news:

UPDATE on the false crusade against me by a few individuals who call themselves “the state of New Hampshire”:

1) The “possession of controlled substances” charge has been DROPPED. That accusation was truly embarrassing on the part of Michael Armstrong.

2) The DUI charge has been DROPPED. Oh yeah. . . that’s because I WASN’T DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. (more…)

Judges Team Up To Destroy Free Speech on Public Property

burke_kissingerAs reported here this week, I was threatened with arrest along with Darryl for handing out fliers inside the new courthouse. Further, on Wednesday, Jason Repsher was similarly threatened by court security agents. I went to court this morning for Graham’s trespass case and was told there is a new “order” in place for both courthouses. I was given a copy of said order. Basically, it continues the standing media restrictions in all NH courthouses, and further bans any distribution of literature inside the courthouse.

The new order is signed by both robed men, Edward J. Burke and John C. Kissinger, and with the whisk of their pens, freedom of speech has now been prohibited along with freedom of the press.

It matters not that I’ve been handing out “Don’t Take the Plea Deal” flyers in the public lobby of the district court in Keene (as well as other district courts in NH) for years. Now if I hand someone a flyer, I’ll go to a cage for an indefinite period of time for “contempt”. “Contempt” is a “power” that robed men have that is inherent in the system, not statutorily authorized, meaning there’s no way to change that part of the system, and there’s no way to challenge a contempt ruling, as I understand it. They literally can cage you forever with virtually no accountability.

So much for freedom of speech and the press inside government buildings. If you want to speak, you can do it outside in the freezing cold or rain.
