It was one month ago when DrDavid Berman removed the feedback mechanisms from his popular youtube video Free Keene Knuckleheads Confronted. Some time recently, the video itself became privatized, making it inaccessible for viewing to the general public. You can see multiple shots taken from Dr. Dave’s perspective in the AKPF episode Dr. David Joins Aqua Keene Parking Force, including audio ripped from the original. Since the video’s debut, Robin Hood of Keene and his Merry Men (of which this author is an active participant) have received a number of apologies and expressions of support from individuals identifying as Christian who believed that the doctor’s actions in the video did not represent their faith well.
While Dr. Dave’s approach was unnecessarily confrontational, I do appreciate that he took the initiative to express himself on video for public dissemination. There are many who never express themselves. Robin Hood and the Merry Men welcome third party videographers to record our actions, and we encourage them to disseminate as much of their footage to the public as possible. The original video description of the Knuckleheads video read:
I’m Confronting these idiots because they are constantly following meter maids around with cameras trying to intimidate them and make their work life miserable. They are acting like little babies because I am calling them names like Jerks and knuckleheads. Aww…did I hurt your feelings? They and those who defend them are just that.
True to form, a group of hardcores came out this afternoon and enjoyed a smoke commenced after Rich’s iconic, “We smoke these in remembrance of lost liberties and in hope for a day where the people no longer fear their government because the government fears the people! Smoke ’em if you got ’em!”
Much conversation was had and a lovely afternoon was enjoyed by the near half-dozen in attendance.
420 celebrations will continue in Central Square through (and beyond) April 20th when a larger event will take place at the state house in Concord. (There will still be a Keene 420 that day as well.) However, the Concord 420 is expected to be well-attended, as it is every year. Here is a facebook event for the Concord 420 on 4/20.
Several activists came out to Cheshire “superior” court yesterday morning to perform jury outreach with NHJury.com fliers encouraging jurors to learn about jury nullification – your right as a juror to judge the law itself and vote your conscience.
Hopefully jurors will take the information to heart and use compassion for their peaceful neighbor in the upcoming trial of heroic 420 celebration founder Rich Paul. Rich is facing multiple cannabis distribution charges that could result in 81 years in prison. Rich has been offered a plea deal of a year in jail and has refused. He wants to be the first person acquitted for the peaceful, victimless “crime” of selling some cannabis to consenting adults. Most people would have taken the deal. Rich is standing firm on his beliefs – he has done no harm. No victim, no crime.

In the sixth installment of Aqua Keene Parking Force, Fred Parsells opens up about his perspective on Keene’s local liberty activism scene. Denying his own statist tendencies, he even dubs himself the ‘original free stater’ after beginning the conversation with “…why you guys are so stupid?” See the exciting conclusion to the cliffhanger ending from Episode 5.

The ranks of allies of the Aqua Keene Parking Force continue to swell, as Keene housing inspector Fred Parsells is the most recent recruit of the elusive organization. He spent a good portion of Friday afternoon watering chalkings along Main Street as Robin Hood’s Merry Men filled parking meters to keep civilians safe from the King’s tariff. The forces of free speech won out in the end as Fred eventually retreated, allowing the curbs to be colorfully overtaken. Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear did not veto a bill to legalize cultivation of industrial hemp in the Bluegrass State, though it did become law without his signature.
Kentucky now joins North Dakota, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Oregon, California, Montana, West Virginia and Vermont as the nine States to have passed a law allowing for farmers to cultivate industrial hemp. Despite the legality in these nine States, farmers have not yet begun to grow it because of fear that the DEA will seize the crops. (more…)
