Fred Parsells Denies Involvement in Hit Piece Blog

Fred and I just spent a few minutes together on the phone. He strongly denied any involvement in the hit piece blog, pointing out that he’s not very computer literate and wouldn’t even know how to blog. He was very complementary towards me and we discussed the premiere of Free Talk Live coming up after baseball season and Saturday nights on WKBK 7-10p.

    He sounds sincere, but why did he restate his denial so many times? I don't want to start a conspiracy, but is it possible that he wanted to stress that *he* doesn't know how to blog and *he* didn't post the aspersions against Julia, as overcompensation in an attempt to hide that he had a friend do it?

    I suppose it's not too important. The most important thing is for Julia to use the free advertising to her advantage – use the "gossip" name recognition to make sure people understand she's about liberty, and not about drugs and cop-hating.

    On a technical note, how do you record your phone calls?

    There was a great suggestion on another board. Julia needs to go around to voters houses and let them see her face-to-face. That will quickly dispel the ridiculous scary image that this anonymous blogger tries to conjure up of her. She's really quite the girl-next-door. This blog will likely help her campaign, IMHO.
