The lesson here is:
1. Liberty activists are not singers
2. We don’t know the words to any Christmas Carrols
3. When all else fails Sam A. Robin can make up words as we go.
This was a lot of fun.

Great tunes. I might have to see what happens at kareoke night. To see this while everyone is drunk could be even funnier!

Nice Job. If they weren’t already depressed about being in jail on Christmas, taunting them with happiness on the outside of the wall certainly cured that!

While perhaps some of them may be as cynical as you, “sad”, many others may have appreciated that a group came all the way out there just to carol for them.
Perhaps they appreciated being thought of by someone on Christmas. Typically, people in jail are forgotten by their “friends”.

I’d be up for doing this again on New Year’s Eve–and “Gilligan’s Island” goes so well to “Auld Lang Syne” . . .
Of course, a little rehearsal beforehand wouldn’t hurt this time. As if.

Sad, you’re such a scrooge.
I wish I’d thought of this earlier, but perhaps next year we can try to get permission to actually go inside and do carolling. Not going to hold my breath or anything, but it’s worth a shot.

I am sure that sometime between now and next Christmas, there will be ample opportunity to arrange your presense inside-just remember it is harder to get out!!
And yes,it was nice of them to let them know that they weren’t forgotten at Christmas. —bil

Next year maybe sam can come up with a few songs to carol at the tree lighting ceremony in central square.
If we printed up song books before hand, no one would have to worry about forgetting lyrics.
