Audio: WKBK’s “Talkback” 2010-02-13
Liberty-minded people called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss stealing the home of a Marlow man over property taxes, KPD stealing Sam’s camera, the decentralized nature of the liberty movement, anarchy, terminology, the Free State Project board, name-calling allegations, consenting, the city gang threatening the homeless and the people that allow them to live on their property, and working in the system for change.
Please join us for our weekly chat and calling sessions on Saturday mornings from 11a-12p in the Liberty Radio Network Chat room. If you’re online, you can listen to Talkback streamed live via the Liberty Radio Network and if you’re in the Keene area you can tune in to WKBK 1290 AM or 104.1 FM. The Talkback discussion thread is here on the Free Keene Forum.

TalkBack: “You have to abide by the rules”
Liberty activist: “No, we don’t have to live by your rules on our property, and we don’t seek to change what you can do on your property. The “rules” of which you speak are illegitimate, and not derived from consent”
TalkBack: “You have to abide by the rules”
While some listeners to the radio may be enlightened by the rational and reasoned calls of Sam, Ian, and others, talking to the regulars is worse off than talking to a brick wall.
The point needed to be made (and I can’t talk to stupid people without getting impolitely cutting, so I leave it to those more skilled) that the rules, which Cynthia herself said should be followed by everyone, aren’t followed by city officials. I can rattle off a good dozen instances I’ve witnessed firsthand just on an instant’s notice. When the rules aren’t followed by those who make, maintain, and enforce them, that’s a clear demonstration that there are no rules–just a thin calcimining of professed “right” covering the might underneath.
