Radio TowerLiberty-minded people called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss negativity in politics, fiat currency, world policing, consequences of cracking down on activists, police discretion, insults toward liberty activists, free market schools, and correcting misunderstandings. A local critic calls in about the city council drinking game and a former cop calls in with paranoid and violent statements about activists.

I find it the height of hypocrisy for Cynthia to jabber on about how activists are children and say stuff like “the law/ordinance passed anyway so they didn’t get what they wanted” as if playing hot potato with these issues and doing the equivalent of sticking your tongue out and saying “Nyah nyah” is the zenith of maturity.

When the first guy comes on, he says something like “We all gotta agree on some general rules [to get along]” and yet a trout with the word irony branded on it doesn’t appear out of nowhere and smack him in the face. How about the first rule we agree on is that you stay out of my pocket, pal? I’ll gladly reciprocate.

They constantly call in and complain about activists, sing love sonnets about their wonderful city and how they worship the golden butts of their high and mighty “elected officials” and not once does it ever occur to them that they could make it all go away if they stopped harassing the activists in the first place with stupid victimless crimes, busybody ordinances, and thieving taxation. No, instead they always resort to the violent solution. Can’t compromise, can’t discuss, nosirreebob, let’s just beat ya half to death, tase ya, slap the cuffs on and throw you in a cage, maybe shoot ya if you resist… blah blah.

If I’m a property owner being molested by them, you’re damn right I’m going to have something to say about all the stuff they’re spending my money on. If they tell me some land they bought with it is “owned by everyone” when I know that’s not only a bald-faced lie but utterly nonsensical, of course I’m going to stand out there with a sign to demonstrate that very fact. If they say they’re spending my money to educate people’s children (poorly I might add), of course I’m going to have a problem with that and speak my mind about it. If I want to pay for some kid’s education, I’ll do it of my own free will thank you very much.

Word of advice, statists: Get your filthy paws out of our pockets and we’ve got nothing to say about those things. Enjoy them all you want, just don’t expect me to fund it at the barrel of a gun. Stay out of my bedroom, away from my body, off my stuff, and out of my home and we won’t have a problem. In summation, just respect our property rights.

If Sally Joe wants to light up a bong, what’s it to you, nosy? She ain’t blowin’ it in your face or terrorizing the countryside shouting “Fee fi fo fum!”, now is she? No, she’s committing an act that affects no one but her and she’s responsible if the consequences of doing it are negative.

There are already laws on the books that deal with real crimes like rape, murder, assault, vandalism, theft, trespass, kidnap and so on. Stop trying to control stuff that isn’t your business to control, ya tyrant-wannabe.

    /End of rant

  2. LibertyShepherd on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 9:03 pm

Zeus, I couldn’t agree with your ‘rant’ more.

  3. Bradley Jardis on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 9:04 pm

A caller wants the Keene PD to crack down and enforce the laws “on the books.”

“I hope the Keene Police Department, uhm, enforces the law. If there’s a law being broken……… remember one thing, a police officer takes an oath to enforce the law. If they don’t enforce the law, they’re breaking the law.”

    No more sunday sports/most employment!

Sorry, uneducated citizen/former police officer, police officers take an oath to UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE UNITED STATES…. **NOT** to “enforce the law.”

  4. Bradley Jardis on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 9:06 pm

AND the caller wants people charged for making videos!

  5. Bradley Jardis on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 9:06 pm

AND he didn’t have the testicular fortitude to name Ian by name!

  6. Chaz Munro on Fri, 27th Aug 2010 11:57 pm

You’re really on to something there, Brad. Anti-Free Keene people are most bothered that they can’t have their way. Their “way” is to lock up people who offend their most very tender sensibilities. They want *more* statue created, not less. Their gripes involve more to counter what bothers them than any actual law breaking.

Even though that in the back of their minds they know that locking up anyone costs them money and lots of it, they just don’t get it. I think that it should be a bigger priority among the activists to hammer home that it does hit them hard in the pocketbook to lock up peaceful people. Sure they *say* that they don’t care how much it costs, yet I believe it just has not been clearly spelled out enough.

If I were to distill it into a sound bite, I’d say:

“Save jail for the truly dangerous out there – and you’ll save a bundle”.

From Ian Bernard: “Liberty-minded people called “Talkback” on WKBK last week to discuss negativity in politics, fiat currency, world policing, consequences of cracking down on activists, police discretion, insults toward liberty activists, free market schools, and correcting misunderstandings. You KIDS have too much on your plate.

You KIDS are throwing things into the wind and seeing which Keene will believe.
You’re not well prepared for this endeavor , and are angry no one is grasping what you KIDS are trying to do.
Document your invitations to disrupt a once peaceful city.

Bradley says: “Sorry, uneducated citizen/former police officer, police officers take an oath to UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE UNITED STATES…. **NOT** to “enforce the law”.

    I AGREE!!!!!!!!!

  10. dingdongdugong on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 10:34 am

Chaz – Its rude to speak for other people and put words in their mouth.

The anti-free-keene guys, like dennis, dont need you speaking for them. They do a perfectly fine job of making themselves look like jackasses with their own speech.

If Dennis wants to have a discussion about issues, or just call those who he disagrees with “kids” is up to him.

  11. Bradley Jardis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 11:18 am

    Hey, thanks Dennis :)

  12. Dennis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 11:55 am

dingdongdugong , you make it sound as if one disagrees with you….(Who’s “them,), they are jackasses.

“Anti-free-Keene guys, like Dennis dont need you speaking for them. They do a perfectly fine job of making themselves look like jackasses with their own speech.
If Dennis wants to have a discussion about issues, or just call those who he disagrees with “kids” is up to him.”

The KIDS we speak of, won’t talk to me anymore.
    Apparently not getting their way.

Ian and Sam ( the kids I s[eak of) have boycotted speaking to me, as they haven’t been able to show the “DOCUMENTATION” they insist on…… Heiga, .
Mind you in her video, on youtube, she disclaims any affilliation with the lot.

    LIES!!

Heika said they refuse to respond to my “TAUNTS”.

Yet they are baring breasts, bringing open alcohol containers into City Council Meetings, smoking pot in Central Square,

  13. Zeus on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 12:01 pm

Ian and Sam are baring their breasts? That must be quite a site at Council Meetings.

  14. theKINGofKEENE on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 12:01 pm

…because I’m boycotting WKBK, I only listen to these with the volume turned OFF, and because I’m also boycotting freekeene, I only read these posts with my eyes closed…

  15. theKINGofKEENE on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 12:04 pm

…YO!, Zeus, that was a typo…Ian and Sam are *BARRING their BEASTS* at City Council meetings…i.e., they no longer bring wild animals…

  16. theKINGofKEENE on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 12:06 pm

YO!, “Dennis”! I’m a bigger asshole than you are. *I* INVITED all these freekeenieweenies here! You weren’t even born here, “Dennis”, so who cares what you say???…

  17. Dennis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 1:07 pm

Zeus, you dolt, Heika was “planted” to bare the tits, to TAUNT!!!!!!!!!!! Taunt, Yet she doesn’t like Taunting.

Nervous as she is, (she admitted it on the video on youtube).

Obviously partially brainwashed by the guy that’s….., how did Ian word it.. Kidnapped?

Read the whole thing before you make yourself self sound like a freestater.

King of Keene, I was born in Keene, I’m stuck with you lot of bugs infesting my home City.
This batch of loonies are imports, NOT from Keene.
Kids, go do your homework, or no playtime.

King, show the “DOCUMENTATION” you invited this lot to Keene.
Ian and Sam INSIST on DOCUMENTATION!

  18. Sam Dodson on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 1:22 pm

Dennis said, “Ian and Sam ( the kids I s[eak of) have boycotted speaking to me”

I feel sorry for Dennis. He’s becoming paranoid and delusional.

“I’m stuck with you lot of bugs infesting my home City.”

Dennis, did you know the critics of the Jews compared them to cockroaches and made similar jokes. Perhaps I’m not interested in conversation with a bigot, who struggles to share the most basic of thoughts?

  19. Dennis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 2:05 pm

“I am sure Sam and Ian are sick and tired of your lame insults backed by nothing other than anger and ignorance. I’m guessing that’s why they are not responding to your taunts,” says Heika..

Apparently she speaks for you lot, provided she’s not too nervous, and presumably you aren’t able to, for yourselves.

You, Sam need to look up the word BIGOTRY.

By definition, it does not mean standing up for the Home City, that was invaded by KIDS trying to get their way.
Confused as you are, you try to turn this into a religious thing?

Surely Ian has taught you better.
I’m an atheist, so stuff off. It won’t work on me.
Sam Miller, you’re only hurting your cause, and you started it……
    I’m not touching you…….

Go do homework and play later, KIDS.

  20. Steve on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 2:28 pm

So Sam, how’d things go at the Quaker meeting? Did it make you all better, you hypocrite. Don’t they believe in non violence to resolve conflicts? And you? Well, I’m sure it’s true how Meg hit her eye with your fist. You know Ian’s right, people like you should be made fun of.

  21. Dennis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 2:44 pm

Ian Bernard and Sam Miller are playing you like a piano, Steve.

  22. Steve on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 2:50 pm

    Boogie woogie.

  23. Dennis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 2:51 pm

Bradley, you still have the golden gonads. Well said!!!!!!!!!!
Sam Miller, thank you for having concern over my well being.

    ” I feel sorry for Dennis. “

  24. Bradley Jardis on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 3:39 pm

Bradley, you still have the golden gonads.

Please forgive me for not understanding the context of this comment. Could you elaborate, please?

    I’m polish, speak slowly :)

  25. Steve on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 3:48 pm

Sam how good you must feel to be such an honest person. Such integrity. Comparing yourself to how the Jews were persecuted. You know, they killed Jesus, too. Crucified for doing good and speaking the truth. Gee, sounds like you have a lot in common. I wonder if he beat up his girlfriends too?

  26. Steve on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 4:23 pm

‘Hitting’ a little too close home Sam? Bring it up at the next Quaker meeting.

  27. Steve on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 4:37 pm

Oops! It’s 4:20. Get back to me when you put the bong down.

  28. Steve on Sat, 28th Aug 2010 5:46 pm

Back from the bong hits yet? Come on Sam, all those lies. Someday you’re gonna get caught. Think your friends will believe next time? You can fool some free staters some of the time. But sooner or later the mask comes off. They’ll see you for who you are.

  29. keenenative, jr. on Mon, 30th Aug 2010 10:05 pm

…it’s been over 2 days now, Steve. Please stop holding your breath. You’re beginning to look like Papa Smurf…

  30. Wes Sayville on Mon, 30th Aug 2010 10:37 pm

In the quest for education for liberty minded people, is anyone familiar with:

    http://studentsforliberty.org/

  31. Paul on Tue, 31st Aug 2010 12:13 am

I’m somewhat familiar with it, although I’m much more familiar with young Americans for liberty: http://www.yaliberty.org/

Both seem to be good organizations.

  32. Jeremy on Tue, 31st Aug 2010 4:36 pm

To the crusty geezer cop that called in: Maybe we’re going to enforce some “law” on you. Sounds like you were making threatening comments – there’s a LAW against that you know.
