4GFirst it was Time Warner announcing Wideband speeds and now Verizon has launched 4G service in Keene! The bandwidth in town just keeps getting better – hooray for competition!

A test earlier today with the free SpeedTest app resulted in typical 4G speeds, 15mbps down and about 10mbps up from Main St. in Keene.

My us cellular phone has said “4G” in the corner for months when in keene. Is it incorrect?

Run the speedtest app and find out.

Floated around 4mbps down. Apparently not as good as Verizon if it even qualifies.

What good is the really fast data, when you can only use so little of it? If it REALLLLLLLLLLLLLY was unlimited, LTE would be a good solution for primary internet access.

The latency is low enough for gaming, no?

Ok, maybe I was wrong… I didn’t think anyone had 4G until now

One hundred and fifty-ONE reasons to move to Keene. Good to know.
