Kudos for taking footage of the occupation. Good to know that it's still going strong despite serious repression from the police.

Julia let me let you in on a secret about large metropolitan police departments, when they want to unleash their "repression" (Although I think the word you want here is oppression" You will know it. The Boston Police are not the KPD, they know how to dispurse a crowd if they are ordered to.
This is a case of a paralyzed Mayor and group of scared city admins! When the decision is made to clean up Boston it will be a quick affair.

A quick cleanup strategy would be to first remove tyhe mayor and the admins and send them out to get real jobs…

They are petitioning for a redress of grievances. That's protected speech as far as I'm concerned. If you don't want people camping in a public park, that's fine, but you have to explore the ridiculousness of the idea that multiple thousands of people can own the park and all gain utility from it.
The protests are far less harmful than the machinations of the 'officials' who think they know what is best for multiple thousands of people and who use the guns of government to force their ideas on the helpless

"enslave keene": I know exactly what you mean. The Keene PD are probably angels compared to the Boston police (I should know; I've had my experiences). The thing is, Keene is a town of 20,000 people which is overwhelmingly white and middle-class. Boston is a huge city with a diverse population both race-wise and class-wise. Yeah, you figure what comes next.
I'm confused why so many 'liberty lovers'/FSPers would want to associate themselves with a movement which is working to break down the very neo-capitalist/free market/tax free society they are trying to create….

I mean, that's the gist of my theory on the matter, so I'm glad you agree…I'm just interested to see if anyone would try to attempt injecting some sort of logic into the situation.
I dont know why people keep comparing keene pd to this one or that one…. or ANY pd… small town pds can be as,or more corrupt and full of assholes as any city.
And keene pd aint frikin angels…i wish people would quit propagating that f'ing lie.
And boston isnt bad either..I have had tons of dealing with the bpd. More than any of you all I can feel comfortable asserting. 🙂
