Merrimack Valley High School Invites Free Keene Bloggers and Rep. Mark Warden to Speak!

Fellow Free Keene blogger Garret Ean, Rep. Mark Warden, and I spent over an hour discussing liberty with high schoolers at Merrimack Valley High School yesterday. We cover the war on drugs, gun freedom, jury nullification, civil disobedience, plea deals, government schools, the roads, and more! It was a root-striking, iconoclastic good time! The teens were very receptive, asked good questions, (as did the teachers attending) and grabbed several fliers on the way out. What an honor to be invited by Pam Ean, one of the school’s teachers. Thanks to all the students who attended! Here’s the full video:

This warms the cockles of my heart. I love that we are getting the liberty message out to kids in high schools and would love to see this kind of thing happen all over the country.

Maybe their parents will start to question the UN curriculum that has poisoned that place.

I found it interesting what Mark mentioned about industries opening schools to incentivize young people to work in that field. That’s something the state does quite effectively with the military.

I wonder if there were any complaints from statist parents following this assembly.

If my kid came home from school and told me these people were allowed to speak to them, I’d be demanding someone’s resignation.

They are nothing more than a bunch of maladjusted and underemployed adults who do not respect authority and were never held enough as children.

It’s because of people like this that Keene is considered the laughing stock of the entire state of NH.

Absolutely. The problem with the world today is that kids are exposed to too many points of view. They need to be shielded. They shouldn’t be exposed to other ideologies, religions or ideas.

Maybe they should be prevented from learning to read, ya know, just in case. We wouldn’t want them to be able to read the bible for themselves. This way the priests and pastors can craft the message that they want people to hear and that’s the only message they would hear. What could go wrong?

The UN only wants them to have one point of view — central control via world government.

Someone with a google+ account please answer:

“I’d be demanding someone’s resignation” -That’s the free market at work. You don’t agree with the education your children get? Pull your children out of that school, or start offering incentives to the schoolboard to remove the offending teachers (or whatever). Vote with your wallet and your feet. The free market works even in a controlled centralized environment, because it is based on human nature.

Someone clean up this comment too, so it sounds more reasonable than my ramblings -before posting it on youtube.

gadsdengurl

I suggest they pull their kids out of this school but not because of my friends speaking there, because of what goes on there day in and day out.

gadsdengurl

Actually MVSD is a laughing stock for what they are doing to the kids.

gadsdengurl

The parents are asleep. This school was taken over by the UN In 2009. htt://www.mvsd-ib.org/

Considering this is one of the high schools in NH that is infested with the United Nations one world government curriculum, this might have been a good thing to counter all the propaganda socialist crap they hear day in and day out that is embedded into their studies. You should visit Amherst and Bedford next, the other of the three worse schools in the state.

This should tour many schools. Call it “The DARE (to actually think) Program.”
