Ridley catches the man in a lie as he claims that he has never reported his students for victimless crimes then moments later admits to having reported them to police for drugs:

When he says “Nobody knows better than you do how to live your life,” what he’s saying is that HE knows better than you do, because he’s Nobody.
You know Jacks, I don’t mean to make light of your first-rate observational skills and all, but fidgeting on a RADIO program really isn’t a big deal to most normal people. Can you guess why, pookums?
