A young activist named Amanda left a message on a Porcupine411 that she was uncomfortable about the presence of a police officer who said he was investigating something in her vicinity. Fuck Capitalism

Don’t miss this excellent piece about the term “Capitalism” from Ofer at Free Manch:

Capital

The term capital refers to a store of value (like gold), or supplies and equipment that can be used to produce goods and services (like a hammer or a pile of wood). If you get stranded on a deserted island, and go find and sharpen a stick to use to spear fish with, that sharpened stick is capital, and you’re now a capitalist— congratulations! (more…)

As you know if you’ve been reading here, the Shire Choir has been performing anti-drug-war carols written to the tunes of classic Christmas songs by wordsmith Richard Onley.

Most recently we have been performing at the state monopoly liquor stores. Those performances will continue, so stay tuned for more about them.
