It went down this morning in Jones County, MS. Jason Talley posted this to MHD’s Twitter:
“We are in Jones County MS and @adammueller has been arrested for filming cops after they pulled us over.”

Later, other posts to Jason’s facebook page revealed they were all arrested. After asking for details and hearing nothing, I called the Jones County Jail at 601-649-7502 and confirmed they have all been imprisoned.
Adam Mueller – Disorderly Conduct and Disobeying an Officer
Pete Eyre – Possession of a Beer in a Dry County
Jason Talley – Disorderly Conduct, Disobeying, and Resisting Arrest
The bureaucrats at the jail think they will be arraigned tomorrow, so if you live in Jones County, MS, you may want to show up to offer your help and support.
More as we know it on FTL tonight and here at Free Keene. Hopefully the guys will be out to tell their story soon at MotorHomeDiaries.com
Update 5/15: They are out.

Today at the arraignment for Richard, one of the “disorderly six”, (a trial is scheduled for July) Keene District Court security agents had no issues with allowing two videographers into a packed courtroom. No one had to fill out motions to do this, they were just allowed in, like they always should be.
The only question is, will the court continue respecting the free press, or will they arbitrarily change the rules again later? Time will tell, and we’ll be sure to blog about it.

Mike first began solidifying his ideas and principles at the relatively late age of 27, when he first started reading Ayn Rand. Thinking he had finally learned “the answer” to the meaning of life, he researched more and more about liberty, discovered the Free State Project, and realized there were indeed like-minded people in the world! Prior to moving to New Hampshire form California in late 2008, Mike had never done any activism. He had never stood up for his rights, had never refused to cooperate with police or judges, had never tried to educate anyone about liberty. Things have changed. His most important change so far has been to learn that he was wrong: he did not know “the answer.” He is still learning, every day, from so many friends and other sources, that there are very many “the answers” – one for every individual person – and that voluntaryism is a peaceful philosophy in harmony with that idea.
Editor’s note: Mike is an honorary blogger as he doesn’t actually live in the Keene area, but he’s constantly involved in Keene-area activism, including being the talented organizer of Free Keene Fest. See more on the Bloggers page.
