I’ve been having a conversation with a smart person pretending to be an idiot over on the Free State Project forum. Generally, the only point of an argument with someone who ignores logical and rational thought is for the benefit of the audience. Presumably at least some of those seeing the discussion will be rational and will gain something from the exchange, even if it’s just the realization that one of the people is full of shit. However, there was an added benefit to this otherwise seemingly hopeless attempt to have a rational discussion. I realized that a misinterpretation of a key term in the discussion has corrupted the entire debate.
You may recall a post where I talked (in jest, mostly) about how we named the show. Tomorrow is our 2nd live episode of Prometheus Unchained, a radio show where Neal Conner and I talk about LGBT issues (lesbian, gay, bisexual, & transgender) from a liberty perspective. I’m guilty of a mild breach of protocol by posting the cover art of the show as a comic, but otherwise it will get pushed down the page and possibly missed by new visitors.

RSS Feed is also now available. The website was just updated from what was essentially just a placeholder and the archive is now hosted on the new server which will be much more convenient. I apologize for not posting much. I’ve been busy with a lot of creative projects. One of them is plans for a podcast with discussion of gay and lesbian issues from a liberty perspective, which has evolved into a radio show, with hosts Neal Conner and yours truly, and with a different guest host each week. Here’s WMUR TV’s story on today’s outreach at Manchester Airport, which happened all day long. I attended, with my not-so-great sign (I should have taken the time to fill-in the letters – it reads ‘US OUT OF NH – SECEDE NOW’) from 10a-2p and while I was there I saw a minimum of thirty activists, most of which were still there around 2pm.
