Here is the sworn statement I’ve submitted to the New Hampshire Senate Judiciary Committee about what I believe is blatant abuse of Part II, Article 73-a by select judges in the New Hampshire Judicial Branch.
To those of you reading this in law enforcement: The complaint for False Reports to Law Enforcement only has to allege knowingly, but you could even prove purposefully. The Judge stopped, turned around, and stated unequivocally “that’s a criminal offense.” He made darn sure the bailiffs arrested Ademo.
Could he have felt threatened? Sure. Was it a criminal offense? Absolutely not.
Would someone please arrest Judge Burke already?

It’s a surprise to learn that Medea Benjamin was allowed into a press conference marking the anniversary of Osama Bin Laden’s mysterious execution. ‘Counterterrorism Advisor’ John Brennan spoke about US military operations overseas, including the use of drones to kill suspected combatants, at the April 30 event at the Woodrow Wilson International Center in DC. Medea (whom you may remember from the Jefferson Dance Party) stood and interrupted the official’s speech and spoke out on behalf of innocent victims of increasingly advanced US militarism. The venue was reasonable enough to not ask that she be arrested after police dragged her from the room. Linked you can read Medea’s account of the event, and see the courageous interruption below:

Just got off the phone with their business division earlier. Residential customers should already be receiving bandwidth boosts and wideband speed packages are now available, with speeds up to 50mbps down and 5mbps up. Further detail here. Rumor also has it that Verizon will have 4G in Keene by the end of 2012.

In my humble opinion, Scott Frye, a New Hampshire State Trooper assigned to the Executive Protection detail, deserves some serious recognition for doing what I personally think is heroic.
From NH-WMUR’s coverage of this incident:
The injured driver continually called out and pleaded not to let him burn. His legs were trapped under the dashboard, police said.Police said Frye climbed through the front windshield of the burning vehicle and freed the man’s legs. Knight helped Frye pull the man to safety.
I’ve been around numerous vehicle fires before, so I know for a fact that TFC Frye risked his own safety to save this guy’s life. Some of these fires are so hot that even being within ten feet of the vehicle can become unbearable.
Please call or mail NH State Police Director Colonel Robert Quinn‘s office and ask that Trooper Frye be properly recognized for risking his own safety to protect a stranger’s life.

From freeconcord.org:
Today the FBI celebrated May Day its own way with the arrests of five individuals who the bureau’s spokesman described as “self-described anarchists”. According to the feds, three of the five men arrested were directly involved in a plot to detonate a four-lane highway bridge in Cleveland, Ohio. They planted what they thought were explosives, went to a location outside of the blast radius, and tried to activate the bombs. An arrest warrant had already been signed before the men even made their way to the site. They had been duped in a typical sting operation in which they are given inert material under the guise that they are explosives to be used for a specific operation, and they are busted when they go about completing the task. While the facts have not yet fully emerged from the events of today, we are to rest assured that the year-long plotting and faux-terrorism incident was under complete investigatory quality control from the brightest minds in law enforcement. Whether the co-conspirator and source of the (non)explosives was an undercover federal agent or a confidential informant, it sounds as if the would-be terrorists were more specifically aiding the plot of another.
