Jury nullification outreach has started up again in Manchester NH. Jury nullification outreach is activism with the purpose to inform jurors of their rights as a juror. A jury can serve as a check on the law itself if a law is unjust. Every two weeks jurors are selected at the Hillsborough County Court House in down town Manchester NH. There were five activists that showed up two weeks ago to hand out jury nullification pamphlets. This week we had four activists including myself, Riaz Kahan, Kurt Thomas, and Amanda BillyRock. There were two different pamphlets being handed out. The pamphlets are available from fija.org and nhjury.com The following dates in which future jury nullification outreach will take place will be on May 19th, June 2nd, and June 16th at 7:45 am located at 300 Chestnut st, Manchester NH.If you are in the Manchester area and wish to participate, meet us at the court house. All are welcome to join.
This week’s modern news installment of AKPF #1 exposes the audience to recent editions of the popular Ridley Report program, bringing the internet to the television. The imperative topic of activism cylinders is expressed nearly fully and articulately.

Robin Hood and the Merry People are pleased to announce a very special public event to be held on Central Square on Friday, 09 May 2014. To commemorate the first year anniversary of service of the lawsuit by the city of Keene against Robin Hood and friends, a free barbeque for the people will kick off at 5:00pm, just as the hours of parking enforcement conclude for the day. All peaceful people are invited to take part in this event and are free to bring along food and drink to share, or simply bring one’s own smile and share in the good company of others.
The people’s BBQ will be a great opportunity to meet Robin Hooders and other activists in the Keene area, and to voice one’s own ideas for how to make our community’s activities more effective. Beef tacos and bottled water will be available for all, as well as a vegan option to be determined. For more information, check out the event on Robin Hood of Keene’s facebook page.
Out with the old, in with the new! Thanks to the help of graphic design wizard Meg McLain, NHJury.com has a brand new trifold for outreach to potential jurors and others who want to learn about the right of jury nullification!
5,000 new fliers have been printed and will be filtering to activists statewide this summer (after we run dry of the original 2011 flier).
The new version features updated text that reflects the passage of the NH Jury Nullification law in 2012 as well as a more current quote from a judge about nullification among other minor tweaks and a complete graphical redesign!
In this week’s historical installment of AKPF #1, we are exposed to select Ridley Reports of recent months past, with minor additions inserted as well as a redacted finale from the Cheshire TV controversial after hours program Black Sheep Rising, wherein parking rates are discussed. This episode of AKPF #1 broadcasts Monday 14 April 2014 at 7:00pm on Cheshire TV.

A satirical post published to Robin Hood of Keene’s facebook page yesterday had apparently gulled a few advocates of the STOP FREE KEENE!!! facebook group into believing that some participants’ previous efforts to prompt intellectual property lawsuits by the Disney Corporation had been a success. The evidence presented was a redacted Cease and Desist letter on which Michael Eisner, Thomas Mullins, and Mickey Mouse were CC’d. The letter purported to be from the Chester, Nelson, and Albuquerque law firm in Orlando, Florida, on behalf of The Walter Disney Corporation. It was dated from exactly one year prior, and identifies, “attorneys representative of the STOP FREE KEENE!!! LLC” as being the original source of the complaints. Accompanying the letter, a short message from Robin Hood implied that the new profile image for the page had been altered to include Doge as part of a deal with Walter’s attorneys.
One April Fools’ post appeared at STOP FREE KEENE!!! and collected five facebook-likes before vanishing altogether between seven and eight in the evening, approximately forty minutes after publication.
Another false-positive on the corporate lawsuit joke appeared in the group earlier today, and remained visible after being revealed as a comedic parody. The second post has also since disappeared from the group’s page. (more…)
