A Keene man was arrested and carried away for not taking his hat off in court.
Being grabbed and assaulted and carried away for wearing a hat in court is very wrong in my opinion and not what I want my tax dollars going for.
It is as wrong as wrong can be.
Assaulted and jailed for wearing a hat.

A man affiliated with the libertarian Free Keene movement is being held without bail because he refused to give his name after being arrested in Keene District Court Monday, according to Keene police.
The man was arrested after he refused to take off his hat in the courtroom and argued with a bailiff who asked him to leave court, according to Keene police Lt. Darryl W. Madden.
He faces charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and is being held at the Cheshire County jail without bail until he identifies himself, Madden said. (more…)
It’s happened again. Last time was in Milford, two years ago. This morning a peaceful activist, Pete, was assaulted and kidnapped by armed men because he was wearing a hat. Copblock.org has a full report. Here’s video, first inside the court:

I apologize for not posting much. I’ve been busy with a lot of creative projects. One of them is plans for a podcast with discussion of gay and lesbian issues from a liberty perspective, which has evolved into a radio show, with hosts Neal Conner and yours truly, and with a different guest host each week. The cases for both Pete and Adam’s from Liberty on Tour are continued as the state is attempting to join the trials. (More about the Greenfield situation here.) Watch as Pete stands his ground and speaks the truth when they want him to leave, but for some reason are in no way in a hurry to remove him. Very strange:

The first video is out of the Keene cops and staties aggressing against freedom-to-travel activist Rich Angell. At one point an as-of-yet-unidentified Keene cop tells videographer Jason Talley to “shut up”. Better footage will hopefully be coming from Talley.TV and we’ll post it here when it’s available.
