NH Man Goes Limp, Gets Pepper Sprayed

A policewoman in Hollis, New Hampshire thought it was the right thing to do to take out her pepper spray and launch it unannounced into the eyes of peaceful 21-year-old Eric Geller, who was visiting his alma mater to have discussions with his former professors.

In my recent interview with Eric, he says that he can’t imagine how an imaginary entity, “The State of New Hampshire” is able to be a victim of his peaceful actions. He also says that he feels he has the right to stand on public property so long as he’s not hurting anyone or getting in the way, which he says he wasn’t. Eric seems to be pretty liberty-minded in every matter which I discussed with him, so I look forward to hearing more as this story develops. He is new to all this legal business, and I would like to offer my support in any way I can, even if it’s just attending his trial. Eric is facing 3 misdemeanor A charges: Criminal Trespass (being on school property), Disorderly Conduct (being on school property), and Resisting Arrest (going limp), and faces up to 3 years in jail plus $3,000 in fines. He hasn’t decided whether or not he will take the issue to court or accept a plea offer, so maybe if others reach out to him, he will know he will not be fighting alone.

MSNBC Reports on Keene’s BEARCAT Controversy

BEARCATMSNBC covers the Keene BEARCAT story:

By Kari Huus, msnbc.com

The city of Keene, N.H., population 23,000, nestled in a valley in the state’s southwest corner, may not be the first place that comes to mind as a terrorism target, but this summer it will take delivery on a $286,000 armored vehicle, compliments of the Department of Homeland Security.

The Lenco “BearCat,” fitted with thermal imaging, radiation and explosive gas detection systems, gun mounts and rotating hatch is but one example of the kind of quasi-military equipment that has been acquired by local and state law enforcement agencies through billions of dollars worth of federal grant money in the last decade. School Board Candidate Banned from All Keene School District Property

I am sitting here at the monthly school board meeting and who walks in but Keene police, who apparently wanted to make a public spectacle (In front of Cheshire TV and the audience here) of their serving me with yet another no trespass order. I stepped outside the room so as to not have them further disrupt the proceedings. At this point, I have now been banned from all “Keene School District property on school days 6:30am to 6:30pm”. This no trespass order has no expiration on it, so I have been banned forever. (more…)

Armed Bullies Interrupt Rainbow Day

A candidate for the upcoming school board election, Ian Freeman is campaigning to parents outside of Keene High School when some armed men dressed in black come and threaten to cage some peaceful people. The law enforcers “guess” the peaceful bunch are standing on “school board property” and that the supposed owners want these people to be put in cages if they don’t move over an invisible boundary just 3 feet away.
