Kal Penn and John Cho, aka Harold and Kumar’s recent visit to Keene State College has been documented by the school’s publication keene-equinox.com. My “forwarded” question to the campaigning duo, which was the subject of my article on the event, is discussed in the Equinox article. I am quoted as well. In court, judge Ed Burke gave the prosecutor 30 days to respond to the motion to dismiss. Next court date is a hearing on the no “trespass” order, November 14th at 9am in Keene district court. Here is the video from today’s hearing:
If you’ve been wondering what happened after the raid on the KAC back in July, I have an update for you. Two months later I was sent this NOTICE OF VIOLATION from the city “Plans Examiner”, Gary Schneider and Gary LaFreniere, “Fire Prevention Officer”. In it, they claim that there is a “tourist home” being run at the KAC, and they demand it be stopped or else I’ll be fined $500 per day.
A New Hampshire Rastafarian facing felony marijuana cultivation charges was declared not guilty on Friday because a jury believed that punishing him for the offense would be unjust. (more…)
